Mission Statement
Our mission is to help mold the character of youth boys in the community by providing an enriched life experience through the study and performance of baseball and how it relates to life. We carry out this mission through our commitment to encourage excellence in all aspects of our players’ lives both on and off the field as well as in the classroom. Fort Lauderdale Lighting will work with and coordinate volunteers, coaches, educators and advocates work together to give our players the best example of teamwork and undying commitment to excellence.
***Team Tryouts***
August 16, 2009 - 05:00 PM
Tryout will be held on Sunday August 16th at 5pm at Holiday Park Field #2 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Please register to tryout by filling out the online Player registration Form. The registration form can also be found by selecting "Player Registration Form" in the online Register Online box at the upper right of this page and also in "Online Forms" in the menu on the left. Players must still be 11 years old on April 30, 2010. All ages must be varified with a copy of the original birth certificate. Please bring a copy or e-mail me a scanned copy to Brian Haggerty. Please do not bring originals to the field.
Team Information
The 11U Fort Lauderdale Lightning is a Not-for-Profit youth travel baseball organization based out of Holiday Park in beautiful downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida. All players must be league age 11 years old, or under, on April 30, 2010 in order to be eligible to play (varified by birth certificate).
