Hudson County Bounty Hunters – RAFL – 3 wins 0 losses - 1st Place Freedom Division Kings Bay Knights – Independent – 3 wins 0 losses – 1st Place Patriot Division
Come out and check out this battle. The Bounty Hunters offense opened up last week putting up points while the Bounty Hunter defense has given up the second fewest points in the tourney. They will put that to the tst against the top ranked offense of the tournament in the Bay Knights who have been putting up major numbers on offense. $7.00 at the door the donation goes to Kings Bay Youth Football Program.
Upset Week At The Classic April 12, 2010 by Gridiron Elite Staff
The weather provided a great stage for this weeks matchups at the Spring Classic. When the oddsmakers put the point spreads out this week they appeared confident in who would prevail with many of the favorites getting a touchdown or better. In our game of the week, the Long Island Demon Knights, coming off a big win were favorite to beat the Hudon County Bounty Hunters. Appeared as though the favorites would run away with this one as the Bounty Hunters were driving into Demon Knight territory when the Demon Knights took an interception 80 plus yards back the other end to open the scoring. The Demon Knights again looked like they were pulling away. But a late drive by the Bount Hunters put the underdogs down by one. Hudson County went for two and converted making the score 15-14. The Demon Knights offense again drove down the field but an ill advised pass was picked off by the Bounty Hunters sealing the upset for Hudson County. Other weekend action, the Punishers who were some experts favorite to win the Classic fell behind big to the Brooklyn Blue Devils. A feverish 2nd half scoring spree was too little too late and the Blue Devils prevailed. In other upset weekend action the New York Spartans, a more than a touchdown underdog to the Connecticut Ravens ended up shutting out the favorite 20-0.

Jersey Natives Hunting Down The Competition April 19, 2010 by Gridiron Elite Staff Filed under HEADLINE NEWS Leave a comment
On top the freedom division is a newcomer to the Spring Classic. The Hudson County Bounty Hunters out of the RAFL have made quite the showing out the gates. Their physical ground game and tough defense has put them in the drivers seat of the playoff race. With two games to go they share the pleaure of being only one of two unbeatens in the tournament. With a big win over the Long Island Panthers to reach 3-0, the Bounty Hunters remain hungry for more.
You can check out the Bounty Hunters go for their fourth straight when they step into a battle of unbeatens as they take on the Kings Bay Knights at 8pm on Saturday night in our game of the week. Photos By Frank Bettis

Ihoops Skills Challenge A Success! Bayonne, NJ- Your Hudson County Bounty Hunters, in collaboration with the United States Census, Morgan Athletics, Bobbie D. Morgan Civic Association, and Marist High School, held the First Annual Ihoops Skills Challenge inside the Marist High School Gymnasium. The event, which is similar to the NBA’s skills challenge during All-Star weekend, matches up boys and girls from the same age groups to test their basketball skills. It was a fun day for all to be had, as there were plenty of prizes given out to the winners, throughout the day in the party-like atmosphere. The players for the Bounty Hunters and the Morgan Athletics Semi-Pro Basketball Team were on hand helping the participants through the obstacle course, with proud parents on the sideline cheering them on. The U.S. Census got the word out about filling out important forms for future program funding, and prospective students got a tour of Marist High School. Here is a list of the day’s winners:
