Freestyle Wrestling Club 2024

Where:

·    Kankakee Bishop McNamara HS

500 W Brookmont Blvd, Kankakee, IL 60901

When:

·    Tues and Thurs 4:15-5:45pm at Bishop Mac

·    Starting March 19^th-May (Freestyle State)

Cost:

$75 (checks payable to Brawlers WC) We accept Credit through Square. AND you will need to purchase USA Wrestling Membership (use Brawlers WC as club). You must provide proof of USAW Membership. https://www.usawmembership.com/login

Who:

Current 7^th Graders-High School athletes. Limited to about 35 wrestlers. Email jjkimberlin@yahoo.com if you plan on attending. Once we hit 35, we cannot take any more.

What:

The focus will be working on positioning, wrestling in neutral position, and par terre (freestyle top and bottom).

Tournament fees can be entered as a custom amount. PAY attention to the fee amount.

***PLEASE remind your children to never wear their wrestling shoes outside of any building. They are meant for the wrestling mats only, to prevent the rapid spread of ‘funk’ (ringworm). Please have them wear another pair of shoes to and from practices and wrestling meets. 

BIG GUYS Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5:30 - 7:00 pm

LITTLE GUYS Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 5:30 - 6:30 pm ON week of 11/27 their time changes to 6-7pm

Registration is now open. Tournament fees MUST be paid by Wednesday of tournament week. ALL PAYMENTS FOR Tournaments should be paid on SQUARE.
