Championship Game
Date: Sunday, November 8th
Time: 8:00 AM (be there at 7AM)
Location: 5-Star Stadium - 92nd and Washington
Red Jersey , Black Pants, Black Socks
Directions to 5-Star Stadium:
A)I-25 South to Thornton Pkwy (92nd Ave), East to Washington, South on Washington. Stadium will be on the East side.
B)HWY 85 South, I-76 West to 88th Ave. 88th Ave West to Washington, North on Washington. Stadium will be on the East Side

We had a tough fought game. The kids battled until the end and never gave up.
The defense came up big, limiting the Raiders to one 54 yard TD run, 2 first down, and 80 total yards of offense.
The offense managed to squeeze out 144 yards and two touchdowns.
Final outcome White 14, Commerce City 6.

Northglenn won 13 to 6 over Broomfield.
It is going to be a tough Championship Game!!!

#3N)Commerce City beat #2S)Brighton Black in a similar fashion to our first game with Commerce City - CC 40, Black 26.
#2N)Broomfield Blitz beat #3S)Northglenn Huskers 25-0.
#4N)Northglenn Redskins beat #1S)Hyland Hills Panthers 31-19.
The other Semi-Final Game is #4N)Northglenn Redskins @ #2N)Broomfield Blitz. A rematch of 10/17.
Game Results 10/24/09 - #4S Brighton Red @ #1N Brighton White
A nice autumn morning saw Brighton White execute Coach Larry's 3 things - Block the Best, Tackle the Best, and Make the Least Mistakes. We added a "4th thing" - "Get Fired Up". White began the game by marching down the field for the first score. Matter of fact, the only instances when White did not score...ran out of plays at Half-time and one lost fumble.
The defense was hungry and our White Nasty Defense only allowed 51 yds on 24 plays, 1-TD, and two-1st downs.
The offense racked up 179 yards on 31 plays resulting in 33 points.
Final Outcome: Brighton White 33, Brighton Red 6.
We ask the parents to BRING the 4th Thing - Get Fired Up!!!!
Game Results 10/17/09- Hyland Hills Hornets @ Brighton White (Homecoming).
Brighton White played tough D and only allowed 68 yards, 3 - 1st Downs, and 6 points. The Defense outscored the Hornets thanks to the Safety and Hunter's stolen handoff for a TD. The offense picked up all the blocks and moved the ball up and down the field.
Final Outcome - White 31, HH Hornets 6.
White - 182 yards
HH Hornets - 68 yards
It looks like we will face Brighton Red in the first round of the playoffs. Thanks to the NG Redskins for beating the Broomfied Blitz, giving us the Number 1 seed out of the North. All other matchups will be determined by a coin flip since CC, NGR, and BF finished 2-2 in our North Division.
The South Seeding is HH Panthers (1), Brighton Black (2), NG Huskers (3), Brighton Red (4).
Game times and locations to be determined Wednesday. We will probably be at HOME!!!!
Game Update 10/3/09-
Brighton White @ Commerce City Raiders
It was a cool morning as the Commerce City Raiders hosted the Brighton White Bulldogs in the Shrimp Bowl (Commerce City's Homecoming). The Bulldogs were unfazed by the opponent's hype and the outcome of the pre-season whooping (50-20).
The Bulldogs shocked the Raiders when David took the opening kickoff back for a touchdown. The defense followed that up with a 4 and out. The offense kicked into high gear, scoring on its 3rd play to take a 12 to zero lead.
The defense only allowed TWO first downs and 12 points total. The offense picked up the blitzes and took complete control of the game.
Final outcome: Brighton White 25, Commerce City 12
Total Yards: Brighton 182 yards, Commerce City 82 yards (64 of those came on the Touchdowns).
We have the weekend off (10/10/09). The coaches already have a game plan in place for the Hyland Hills Hornets.
We will work hard on fundamentals this week!!!

Each week we continue to improve, and the defense is getting stingy. Our punter is feeling neglected.

Practice Location: Veteran's Park - Bridge Street and S.Platte River west of Hwy 85.
Brighton Red vs. Brighton White 2007 Championship
What else would you expect? It was a tough fought game. Brighton White prevailed and are the 2007 Undefeated CHAMPIONS!!! It was smash-mouth domination.
Congratulations to the players for finishing their youth league as Champions.
