January 21, 2011 – 09:00 AM
We are the Brunswick Express, Brunswick's newest baseball team, and we welcome you to our site. The Brunswick Express is an elite 22 and under team that will compete in the Blue Ridge Adult League, and be a member of the nations oldest baseball affiliation, The National Amateur Baseball Federation. The team is comprised of college athletes mostly from Frederick County. Our General Manager Roger Dawson formed the team, and this year has appointed Seth Keyser,Aaron Main, and Andrew Derr as the Field Managers. Dawson also formed the Brunswick Orioles many years ago, and has led them into national prowess. The Express plan to play a 30 game schedule which doesn't include post season play. We hope you enjoy our site, and look forward to keeping you posted on the team's progress.

Boonsboro, Armentrout Stiffle Express 4-0
The Express just couldn't seem to get it going as the Pirates Brandon Armentrout shut out the Express in a complete game effort. Although the Brunswick squad got quality pitching as well, they just couldn't get it going against the Washington County club. More to come.

Although the Express tied the score at one in the top of the 7th inning the game reverted back to the 6th inning because rain hit in the bottom of the 7th with Boonsboro at bat with one out and a man on 1st. The score at the end of the 6th inning was 1-0 in favor of the Pirates. The Express record now stands at 4-2.
