2009 VOLLEYBALL TRY-OUT INFORMATION
Try-outs for the 2009 Varsity team have come to a close. Congratulations to the following players that made the varsity team:
Carla Ananea, Jessica Campbell, Lauryn Gearin, Chelsea Harris, Kayla Marsh, Brittany Moore, Jessica Rodriguez, Caitlyn Sylvia, and Bari Tressler.
If you have volleyball experience, and were unable to attend varsity try-outs for some exceptional reason (just moved to town, family emergency, etc...), please contact Coach Garner asap at: 386-299-8176 to arrage a time that you can try-out for the varsity team.
JV Try-out will continue through the first week of school. JV try-out time are 4:00pm to 6:00pm August 17-21, and 3:00-5:00pm starting the first day of school (Aug 24th).
All athletes trying out for the 2009 JV Volleyball Team must have the following items on file with the atletic trainer before they will be able to try-out:

2009 VOLLEYBALL DONATION FORM
The Mainland High School Volleyball team is in need of DONATIONS! In addition to our normal costs, this season we are playing in a tournament in Orlando. It is a two day tournament, and we will need funds to reserve rooms for the players to stay for 1 night.
The girls' volleyball team is funded by fund-raisers & donations. The following items are purchased through donations & fund-raisers:
*Equipment *Training aids *Uniforms *Awards *Office supplies *Training camps *Tournament Entry fees *End of the year banquet

Bucs Work-out With Phil Dalhausser
Christmas break the Mainland Volleyball team had the opportunity to work-out with 2008 Beach Volleyball's Olympic Gold Medalist,& former Maniland grad, Phil Dalhausser. It was the coldest day of Christmas break, but that didn't stop Phil or the girls from having a great time!
