RIPKEN 10U WINS SOUTH BERWICK INVITATIONAL
The Barrington 10 year old team went 5-0 over the weekend in the South Berwick invitational tournament to take home the Championship trophy. They outscored their opponents 38-6 in five games. Brody Ashley and Max Judge were 2-0 on the mound while Ryan Cunningham and Noah Dubois pitched well in relief. Dubois was superb behind the plate as well. Alex Bussiere had seven RBIS on the weekend with a handful of big two strike hits. Defense was solid also with the likes of Jayson Cleveland, Shane Fillion, Max Judge, and Alex Bussierre in the infield and Sam Lupinacci, Zach Pine, and Jonathan Stacy in the outfield. In the championship game, Brody Ashley held a powerful Seacoast lineup to one unearned run over five superb innings while Ryan Cunningham closed the door for the final three outs. CONRATULATIONS!!

12U Cal Ripken All Stars Finish 3rd in District 7
The 12U All Stars earned third place in the District & tourney last weekend. Barrington 12s lost their first game to Stratham 5-2 on Wednesday. Thursday they bounced back to beat Northwood 15-0. On Friday they took a close one in the bottom of the 6th against Seacoast, 8-7 to win their second straight elimination game. With two outs, Cusack and Langdon on 2nd and 1st, Markusic hit a double allowing Cusack to score the tying run and allowing Langdon to score the game winner from first. Fun and exciting!

On Saturday, Barrington continued their march in the elimination bracket by defeating Newmarket. A grand slam by Robert Markusic sealed the deal, putting the team up by 2. They then held onto the 1 run win with a 1-2-3 inning in the bottom of the 6th.

The second game of the double header induced by a rain soaked beginning of the week did not go so well against Stratham. Although only losing to them 5-2 in our first game against them on Wednesday, they brought their bats. Barrington was touched for 2 homers in an 11-0 rout.

U10 SOFTBALL EARNS STATE BERTH
The U10 Softball All Stars advanced to the State Tournament after competing in a very tough district tournament! They went 3-1 overall, finishing runner up and are now on their way to States next weekend in Plaistow. They all played very well to include a very tough defense and some big bats. Our pitching was dominant as was out total team effort!

KNIGHT'S GARAGE CAPTURES RIPKEN PLAYOFF CHAMPIONSHIP
Knight's defeated a talented Christmas Dove team 5-2 last night to earn the title. Brody Ashley pitched the first two innings for the victory. Mac Struthers pitched the final two for the save. Offensively, Ashley had two hits including a big double, Andy Woodward had two hits, Isaiah Hinrichsen had a big two out hit, and Mac Struthers had two RBIs.

BLUE LOON WHITE WINS 16U CHAMPIONSHIP
White Completes Undefeated Season

Blue Loon White won the U16 Championship over Blue Loon Blue. Piling on 7 runs in the first 3 innings then holding Blue off for the win. Makayla Harris blasted a huge 3 run homer in the 2nd inning. Jaedyn Bedell went 3-3 to close out her amazing hitting season. Sara Weeks picks up her 2nd playoff win.

Great final game, Blue falls to take second place to their home town comrades. Marissa Beaudoin pitches to the complete game loss for her first of the season. Slow start, strong finish, just not enough.
