Daniel N. Bromley, 57, of Fairview Township, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 11, 2010, in the Harrisburg Hospital. He was born on February 19, 1953, in Brooklyn, NY. He was a graduate of SUNY Brockport and was a Senior Programmer Analyst with Highmark.
Danny was a very active participant in sports, having played softball for the Lamp Post Inn, and basketball with the West Shore Rec Board Over-35 League, as well as being an avid golfer. His true passions were his family, friends, the basketball court, the ball field and the golf course. He would always find his moment of joy and relaxation with a scotch, a cigar, and a good book in the backyard he was so proud to have. A recent crowning achievement in Danny's life was surviving trips to the Grand Canyon with his brother, Mark. True to his New York upbringing, he was a diehard Mets/Jets/Knicks and Rangers Fan. Once known as Beautiful Bromley, he lit up every room he entered.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia E. "Patti" Bromley; two sons, Michael E. Bromley and his fiancé, Whitney Nickol, of Southampton, Andrew Thomas Bromley of Pittsburgh; his mother, Claire Bromley, of Harrisburg; a brother, Mark S. Bromley, and his wife, Mary Beth, of Reston, VA. He was preceded in death by his father, Philip Bromley.
