BEING AN ALL STAR.....
What should you expect once you are a part of the Cheer House All Stars?
You need to definitely count on having a great time!! Being a part of C.H.A.S means making new friends form your own school and surrounding areas while competition in some of the most exciting cheerleading competitions in Southern California, and Las Vegas. Parents will appreciate the life lessons experienced daily in a well managed program like ours. We instill the qualities of a good work ethic, self discipline, responsibility in all of our team members. We emphasize sportsmanship in and out of the gym, honesty, POSITIVE self-esteem, accountability, and respect for others. Team members will also enjoy the social benefits of being a part of Cheer House swimming parties, sleepovers, banquets, volunteer work and best of all…working together toward a common goal BEING THE BEST THAT WE CAN BE!! Most of our team members are great friends in and out of the cheerleading word. Being teammates creates long lasting bonds!!
What is competition like?
First of al it’s nothing like a football game. When you are a competitive cheerleader the crowd is cheering you on! You may of seen it on ESPN or even Bring it On. Competitive cheerleading is just that COMPETITION is the main goal. This is your chance to show everyone just how hard your team has worked. Although we will always strive to be number one we ultimately want to see that you all have done your best and enjoyed yourself. You can look forward to performing at Perris Fair grounds, Long Beach State, R.C.C, Ocean Side pier, Las Angles, Disney Land. Magic Mountain, and Las Vegas. We will have a more accurate schedule in early Fall.
What Kind of time commitment will it take?
From May 2003 to April 2004 The Cheer House All Stars will practice 2 times weekly (usually 1 ½ to 2 hour practices) with an optional tumbling time for individuals wanting the practice. There may be additional practices around big competitions if needed. We will compete 7 to 10 times depending on our ranking. Our plan is to compete once a month with the exception of National and maybe one other big event.
Dedication to this activity is a requirement. This is for fun but to be successful all team members and parents must be committed. Missing competitions is not permitted and regular attendance is mandatory.
