Errors & Walks Plague Ciconte's In Game 5!!!
Ciconte's allows 13 runs on only 6 hits. They loose for the first time in the invitational in 10 games. They will look to bounce back from this lose as they enter single elimination play as the #1 seed from the out of town bracket. Play will either resume on Thursday or Friday of next week, weather permitting.

Ciconte's Defeats Susquehanna In Game 4!!!
Ciconte's remains undefeated as Joe Noyse picthed a complete game allowing on 3 runs while striking out 4. Cicontes scattered 6 hits producing 4 runs to earn a victory. Ciconte's will take on the Philadelphia A's in their final game of round robin play at 7:30PM on Satuday evening at Alden field.

Ciconte's Down The Braves!!!
Ciconte's remains undefeated in the Invitational after defeating the Cecil County Braves 9-5 on Thursday evening. Justin Mendek took the win only allowing 5 hits. The offense was led by Frank Galeota who contributed with 2 doubles on the night. Joe Noyse will look to recieve his second win in the Tournament as he takes the hill against Susquehanna Friday night.

Ciconte's Italia Pizza improves to 2-0 in the Bridegton Invitational. Damien Wright set the tone on the mound allowing only 3 earned runs in a complete game showing. Matt Enuco, Tyler Inkster, and John Oehler led the offensive attack with 2 hits a piece. Ciconte's will look to improve their record against the Cecil Braves Thursday night at 8:00PM.

Ciconte's Sqeak Past RVL Hurricanes In Game 1!!!
Joe Noyse goes the distance pitching a complete game allowing only 2 earned runs in Ciconte's 4-3 victory. The offense was led by Jason Law who added 2 hits and stolen base. Mike Rucci contributed with a solo Ed's Body Shot to pull Ciconte's within 1 run. Nick Urbanovich added a key double off the wall in right center. Tyler Inkster contributed with a sac fly and scored the winning run, after toughing out a HBP opening a cut over his left eye. Ciconte's will look to continue their winning ways Tuesday vs. Gildeas at 8:00PM.

CIP Standout Drafted In The 8th Round Of The 2008 MLB Draft!!
Rowan senior left hander Ryan Kulik was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2008 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.
Kulik was taken with the 245th pick in the eighth round of the draft. In four years at Rowan, he compiled a 29-10 record with a 2.81 earned run average (ERA) and 337 strikeouts. He holds the school records for strikeouts in a game (15), season (144) and career (337), strikeouts per nine innings in a season (13.77) and career innings pitched (330.0). Kulik is also tied for first with 49 career starts.
This year, Kulik was selected the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) and New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Coaches Association (NJCBA) Division II/III Pitcher of the Year. He was named to the NJAC All-Conference and NJCBA All-State first teams. Kulik earned American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)-Rawlings All-America and Mid-Atlantic All-Region first team honors. He was also chosen the NJAC Male Athlete of the Year.
Ciconte's Repeat In The Invitational!!!
Ciconte's Kevin O'Hara stole the show on Wednesday night throwing a complete game NO HITTER against Bidic Autos. O'Hara also fanned 9 batters in his no hit shut out. The offense was led by tournament MVP Frank Galeota who went 4-5, RUN, RBI. Also contributing to the offense was Mike Rucci, Mark Michael, Bryan Ciconte, and Kyle Davis all adding 2 hits a piece. Reid Briglia later added Ciconte's second Ed's Body Shot Blast of the tournament in the bottom of the 6th inning over the right field fence.
