2009 SDYFC Super "Q" Bowl Champions
Congratulations to our All-American Hawks for their victory over Mira Mesa to win the 2009 Super "Q" Bowl Championship. We are so proud of this team and all they have accomplished this season. Thank you to all of our Hawks family for coming out to support them and cheer them on to victory. The Hawks fought back from a 6-0 half time deficit to win 22-12.
What a great game to top off such a great season!
CYFC Gear Return
Gear return is ongoing at Madison High School (set up near the snack bar). We will be collecting CYFC equipment, gear, and uniforms for teams not in the playoffs or traveling to post season tournaments. All gear and equipment should have been turned in last week. Please bring your gear and equipment back this week during normal practice hours.
All CYFC equipment, gear, and uniforms must be washed and all equipment accounted for. The following items will need to be returned: Helmet (tackle and flag), shoulder pads and 7-pc pads (tackle), game pants, practice pants, practice jersey, white belt, and orange belt.
2009 SDYFCC Cheer Competition
Congratulations to all of our cheerleaders for a great season and a fantastic showing at the cheer competition. All of our cheer squads placed in the competition. The Midget cheer team took second place. The Flag, Mitey-Mite, and Jr. Pee Wee cheer teams all placed third. Last, but certainly not least, the Jr. Midget cheer team brought home the gold, finishing in first place in their division. What a great effort by our Lady Hawks and their coaches and trainers. It is great to see their hard work all year pay off at the cheer competition.

Practice Schedule
All teams will be on the football field for the remainder of the season. The All American team will have priority as they are the last remaining team alive in the playoffs. The remaining three teams traveling to post season tournaments will need to share space as best as possible. If you have access to lights you are welcome to relocate to the utility field.
