Founded in 2009 The Clovis Eagles is a private youth tackle football program for the youth of Clovis West High area and private schools for grades K thru 6th. Open enrollment begins in April 2012.
As a part of The Cen-Cal Youth Football League, we will provide the opportunity to play in a supervised, organized, and safety-oriented manner. While Parent and Community participation are crucial to our program, we strive to keep the welfare of all participants in our youth tackle football program, free of any adult ambition and/or personal glory.
Our mission goals are to instruct young players in the fundementals of tackle football with an emphasis on proper techniques and safety, the promotion of sportsmanship, team spirit and love of the game, the encouragement of physical fitness through exercise and nutrition, and, most importantly, the emphasis of excelling in academics for all players. Borrowing on the moto of a fine coach we have had the honor of knowing over the years, all Eagles players are encouraged to be gentleman, scholars, and athletes....and in that order.
Clovis Eagles Football serves the following schools Fort Washington, Liberty, Lincoln, Maple Creek, Nelson, Pinedale & Valley Oak Elementary Schools
