Old Bridge/Middletown League Meetings
The league meetings for our Old Bridge and Middletown divisions will be on.
Thursday, February 23rd and Monday, February 27th at 7pm (start time will be 7:15pm). Location: Danny Sanchez's Photography, 25 Bridge Ave, Suite 200, Red Bank, NJ 07701. Managers or team representative only needs to attend one of these meetings, but please let me know which one. Your league deposit will be due at this meeting to ensure your spot in the league. Thank you and I am looking forward to a great 2012 season.
10 Man Modified Preseason Tournament
Date: Saturday, March 31st - Sunday April 1st
Location: Drum Point Sports Complex, 41 Drum Point Road, Brick, NJ 08723
TWO CLASSIFICATIONS:
STRICT 10 Man Modified Pitch - Bowling Style Pitching will be strictly enforced (no slinging allowed), 3 game guarantee with top half of the teams returning on Sunday for single elimination round. Limited Bunting and no stealing.
OPEN 'GOLD' 10 Man Modified Pitch - 3 game guarantee with top half of the teams returning on Sunday for single elimination round. Limited Bunting and no stealing. Only difference is open pitching meaning pitcher that cannot pitch legal 10 Man can participate in this division.
Cost: $270 per team (GSA Team registration is included, Umpires each game team pays $20 each for umpires)

2012 Spring/Summer Leagues
Central Jersey Softball (weeknight leagues) Old Bridge/Manalapan weeknights (Tues/Thurs or Friday night games) - We will have 4 divisions as follows:
- 10 Man Open (Gold Division last years A Division) - The division will consist of 8-10 teams with No restrictions on pitchers meaning anyone can pitch (except windmill), we will play a 13 game regular season and double elimination playoffs for qualifying teams. We will play 10 Man rules with limited bunting and no stealing. Opening day will be the week of April 9th with all games played in Old Bridge Veterans Park and/or the Manalapan Recreation Center.
- 10 Man (A Division, last seasons B+) - This division will consist of 8-10 teams and is for top level 10 Man teams (however no pitchers from the Gold Division or on the Major list are permitted to pitch in this division and all 10 Man Pitching rules will be enforced). Regular season will consist of 13-15 games and double elimination playoffs. The league will play limited bunting and no stealing and Opening day will be the week of April 9th with all games played in Old Bridge Veterans Park and or the Manalapan Recreation Center.
- 10 Man (B Division) - The division will consist of 10-12 teams this will be a strict 10 Man Modified league with all pitching rules enforced, we will play limited bunting and no stealing. Regular season will consist of 13-15 games and double elimination playoffs. Opening day will be the week of April 9th with all games played in Old Bridge Veterans Parks, the Manalapan Recreation Center, and/or Geick Park in Old Bridge Game start times will be 6:05, 7:35 or 9:05pm
- 10 Man (C Division- NEW!) - This division will consist of 8-10 teams and is for teams just starting out/and or a developing team looking to have fun. The division will be a strict 10 Man Modified league with all pitching rules enforced, we will play limited bunting and no stealing. Regular season will consist of 13-15 games and double elimination playoffs. Opening day will be the week of April 9th with all games played in Old Bridge Veterans Parks, the Manalapan Recreation Center, and/or Geick Park in Old Bridge Game start times will be 6:05, 7:35 or 9:05pm

- 10 Man (A Division) - This division will consist of 8-10 teams and is for top level 10 Man teams (however no pitchers from the Gold Division or on the Major list are permitted to pitch in this division and all 10 Man Pitching rules will be enforced). Regular season will consist of 13-15 games and double elimination playoffs. The league will play limited bunting and no stealing and Opening day will be the week of April 9th all games will played at Normandy Park or Hazlet VMP with start times of 6:30pm and 8:10pm in Normandy and 7:30 and 9pm in Hazlet
- 10 Man (B Division) - The division will consist of 8-10 teams this will be a strict 10 Man Modified league with all pitching rules enforced, we will play limited bunting and no stealing. Regular season will consist of 13-15 games and double elimination playoffs. Opening day will be the week of April 9th with all games played at Normandy Park or Hazlet VMP with start times of 6:30pm and 8:10pm in Normandy and 7:30 and 9pm in Hazlet
Jersey All Sports Spring/Summer Leagues

MODIFIED 10 Man Leagues:
- Cliffwood Beach (Sunday Mornings) - Two divisions A & B level (looking to have a minimum of 6 teams per division), teams will play within their own division with a few cross over games, playoffs will be double elimination within the division. League play will begin Sunday, April 15th with a 14 game regular season schedule and playoffs games will start at 8:30am at Ross Fields.
NEW LEAGUE! - Toms River (Weeknight) - 10 Man Gold Division (open pitching), limited bunting, no stealing. 12-14 game regular season and double elimination playoff. League to begin the week of April 9th on Thursday nights each week.
NEW LEAGUE! - Ocean County Modified Pitch (Sunday morning) - The league will consist of 8 teams with a 14 game regular season and double elimination playoffs for qualifying teams. Opening day will be Sunday, April 15th and we will play GSA 10 Man Modified Pitch rules.
COED SLOW PITCH LEAGUES:
- Ocean County Coed League (Wedenesday, Thursday or Friday nights) - You will play on one of these nights each week and games will start at 6:20pm at various fields in Ocean County, such as Johnson Park in Jackson, Patriots Park in Jackson, Ocean County Park and others. League will consist of 8-10 teams with a 14 game regular season and double elimination playoffs for qualifying teams. Opening week will be April 16th and we will play GSA Slow Pitch rules with a 4-10 foot arc and a 7 male/3 female format.
NEW LEAGUE! - Old Bridge Coed League (Friday Night League) - The league will consist of 8-10 teams with games played each Friday night in Old Bridge at Veterans and Geick Park. Game start times will be 6:15pm, 7:30pm and 8:40pm. Regular season will consist of 14 games and a double elimination style playoffs for qualifying teams. Opening day will be Friday, April 20th and we will play GSA Slow Pitch rules with a 4-10 foot arc and a 7 male/3 female format.
Somerset Coed League (Wednesday night league) plays GSA Co-Ed Slow Pitch rules, using a 7(male)- 3 (female) format and a 4-10 foot arc. Games are played on Wednesday nights April through July with qualifying teams playing a playoff tournament in August. Opening Day will be Wednesday April 18th.
Bergen 'Y' Coed League (weeknights) - plays GSA Slow Pitch rules. 4-10 foot arc, 7-3 format.. Games are played weeknights April through July with qualifying teams playing a playoff tournament in August. Opening day will the week of April 9th. All games will be played in Bergen county.
MEN SLOW PITCH LEAGUES:
- Neptune (Sunday Morning Double Header League) - The league will consist of 12 teams that will play Double Headers on Sunday mornings made up of a 20 game regular season schedule and double elimination playoffs for qualifying teams. Games will start at 8:15am at Burt Willis fields in Neptune. Opening day will be Sunday, April 15th and the league will play GSA Slow Pitch rules.
- Bergen 'Y' Men's Slow Pitch (weeknights) - plays GSA Slow Pitch rules. 4-10 foot arc. Games are played weeknights April through July with qualifying teams playing a playoff tournament in August. Opening day will the week of April 9th. All games will be played in Bergen county.
NEW LEAGUE! - Ocean County Men's Slow Pitch League (weeknights) - The league will consist of 8 teams with a 14 game regular season and double elimination playoffs for qualifying teams. Opening day will be the week of April 16th and we will play GSA Slow Pitch rules.
NEW LEAGUE! - SENIOR 60 AND OVER LEAGUE - Slow Pitch Softball to be played during the week days in Ocean County opening day will be the week of April 16th and will consist of a 12 game regular season and playoffs, we will play GSA Senior Slow Pitch Softball rules.

Are you an individual looking to join or form a team? Sign up as a free agent by completing the form under online forms on the right. Your information will be added to the league FREE AGENT list and teams will contact you directly as they form their rosters. Or if you want to manage a team gather the free agents and form a new team. In the past 5 teams were formed from this list of which 3 have won championships and all still play in the league today.
