Your COUGARS will now take on the Westlake Chapparals in a game with playoff implications. The game is Friday night at Westlake @7:30pm. Please arrive early to get a good parking place. Come out and support Your Cougars,Cheerleaders, Band and Drill Teams.

Homecoming Victory:
Cougars win 34-19 over Akins Eagles
It's Homecoming Friday Night as the Cougars take on the Akins Eagles. Pre-game activites include a Tailgate Dinner(Arby's Box Dinner and Drink for $5.00) on the lawn outside the gates starting around 5:30pm. Halftime Festivities include the crowning of the Homecoming Court, also Cougar Stars and Band performances. Come out and celebrate on this special night and watch OUR COUGARS climb back into the playoff hunt.

Tickets may be purchased from Ms. Hinojosa, Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. at the CHS nurse’s office and from 1:15 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the CHS Field House. Tickets will continue to be sold during all 3 lunches on Thursdays (11:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.) Prices are $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. After Thursday all tickets will be $6.00 for both students and adults. FOOTBALL TICKETS WILL NO LONGER BE SOLD ON FRIDAYS.
Pflugerville ISD reminds fans of District Policy: Advance tickets will only be sold Monday through Thursday at each high school for their game that week. Game day ticket sales are available on a first come basis at the main gate and the game likely will sell out early.
The District will only sell the number of tickets that the stadium stands will hold. When capacity is reached on the home side (total advance and gate sales), fans wishing to enter the stadium will be directed to the visitor side to buy tickets there and must remain on their assigned side of the stadium throughout the game. Once the home side is full, only fans that purchased advance tickets still will be allowed in on the home side. There are different tickets for the home and visitor sides of the stadium. When possible, the District will designate a "home" section on the visitor side for overflow. Anyone who leaves the stadium for any reason must pay to re-enter; this includes season ticket holders, students, and volunteers. As a reminder, PISD students must show their Student Identification or a copy of their class schedule, along with their ticket, to enter the home side of the stadium. District staff must show their identification and have a ticket to enter the game.
By working together, District staff and fans can keep Pflugerville ISD football the best game in town.

Cougars v. Bastrop Heartbreaker

The Cougars took on the upstart Bastrop Bears last Friday night at Connally. In a wild first night of District play, there were many surprises. While our Cougars jumped out to an early lead and held strong through most of the game the final results were heartbreaking! With a sudden burst of energy the Bears muscled their way to a final score of 23 - 19 "Keep at it Cougars you are almost there!"

Connally earns first Win on the Year Beating Vista Ridge 23-0
September 11th
Connally gets their first Win of the season. Connally scores 23 points in the second quarter while holding Vista Ridge scoreless. Next game vs. Killeen in Killeen next Friday night @ 7:30. Come on the road with the Cougars and watch some good football.

September 18th:
Connally loses in the final 7 seconds as Killeen scores a TD with 7 seconds to go in the 4th quarter.

Realignment: District 25-5A the Cougars are Coming
With an October 2007 enrollment just above the 2,085 cutoff, the Cougars are headed for 5A for the first time in their history. They will be leaving District 25 4A and joining the Pflugerville Panthers, 25 5A also includes Westlake, Bowie, Austin High, Anderson, Bastrop and Akins, in arguably the most competitive district in the state.
