The Freedom played in the 2009 Discovery Cup Tournament held Columbus Day weekend at the beautiful Maryland Soccer Complex in Boyds Maryland October 10-12, 2009. (See photo below and CLICK HERE for a layout of the complex) Accepted teams, schedules and results are posted below. The team played well all weekend and only gave up one goal in the four games before advancing to the final while outscoring their opponents 9-1.
