CONGRATULATIONS! Rece and Nish for your outstanding leadership roles, and performances as teammates for the D.W. Daniel Lady Lions Basketball Team.
Anicia made the FIRST TEAM ALL GOLDEN CORNER GIRLS' BASKETBALL TEAM. Averaging 16.6 ppg,& 8.5 rpg. She also made the All-Western AAA, & All-State Team. Anicia was also named the OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR.
Sherece made the SECOND TEAM ALL GOLDEN CORNER GIRLS' BASKETBALL TEAM. Averaging 11.3 ppg, & 5.1 spg. She also made the All-Western AAA Team.

Congratulations to the 16U girls' Anicia Dotson who was named to the 2008 South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association Class AAA All-State girls team.
Anicia was also named to the All-Area girls basketball First Team.
Duo of the season goes to: Sherece Smith and Anicia Dotson who both made All-Region.
Edwards Middle School Goes Undefeated!
Congratulations to our 14U Boys who attend Edwards Middle School. This past season marked the 1st time in the history of the school that the Panthers boys basketball team went undefeated. The Panthers also won the Tri-County Middle School Athletic Association Tournament against schools from Anderson,Pickens and Oconee Counties. The team 2007-2008 season record was 17-0 and they were coached by Bill Carraway. Members of the team who are players for the Cruisers include: D.J. Greenlee, Shaq Lawson, Jemiah Wimphrie, Justin Dotson, Ryan Gibson, D.J. Smith and Tyus Gaines.
