    1. How is age determined for Little League?

The cutoff for Little League seasons is April 30th.
The Player's age on April 30th of the current season is that player's "League Age". For example... Jason Bay will turn 10 on January 1 of 2010. His League age is 10. Billy Martin will turn 13 on May 1 2010. His League age is 12.

    2. What is acceptable as proof of residency?

    List

    3. What can be used instead of birth certificate to prove birth date?

    Passport,

    4. Must all twelve year olds play in the majors?

No. However, parents must sign a "Waiver" form to allow the player to remain in the minor division of play. The player will be ineligible to pitch in the minors division.

    5. How can I play in a league if I do not live there?

A player will earn tenure in the original league of play. That is, players beginning their Little League career in CSALL and then move outside of the boundaries of CSALL will still be eligible to play in CSALL as long as the play is uninterupted/continuous. Once a player does not play in CSALL for a season while living outside the boundaries they are no longer eligible for play in the league.
