JV Game vs. Calvary
The JV girls played an excellent game against Calvary Christian Academy. Although falling 8-5, the girls played with heart, determination, and never gave up. Ariel Boliek had 9 strikeouts, while Mary Mangini had a couple of great throwdowns to second to get the runner out. The girls hit well, and was basically a pitchers duel. Boliek pitched one of her best games all season, and should be ready for her next match against Coral Springs Charter on Friday at home!

Middle School Team is on a Roll!
After a solid week of Middle School games, the middle school team went 1-1, falling to Westminster Academy on March 9, 10-27 and winning against Abundant life 29-17. The girls have had a rough season having some games canceled, but they overcame and persevered through the week.
Audrey Hubert started off pitching both games with a combination of 12 strikeouts, while Valerie Robbins came in to relieve Hubert at the Westminster game. Both did a fantastic job!
The Middle School season is nearing the end of their season, with three games remaining. Good Luck Crusaders!

February 16, 2010 – 04:00 PM —
The JV Crusaders played extremely well for their first game despite falling to the Calvary Christian Eagles 14-6. The girls played hard, had a few keys hits, played well defensively, and never gave up. The stars of the game were Mary Mangini with 2 runs and a hit, and Kaleigh McCormick with 2 runs, a stolen base, and 3 strikeouts. Keep up the great work!

Crusader Victory Against Highlands
The JV Crusaders had their first win of the season today against rivals Highlands Christian Academy at home, with the final score of 18-4! Ariel Boliek pitched an outstanding game with 6 strikeouts and only 5 walks! The other stars of the game were Megan Rogers with 4 RBIs and 3 runs, and Lu Moriera with 1 run, a fat lip received during warm ups, and the heart to play despite her injury. With the leadership of Cassidy Sack and Kaleigh McCormick, the co-captains, the girls played extremely well and played as a team! I am so proud of them!
