Scott Abt led the offense going 2-3 with a double and 2 RBI's. Jacob Jackson added two hits and Tyler Walls, Jeff Harding and Troy Davis had singles. Troy Davis was the defensive standout making multiple tough plays.
The Vikings defeated Queen Anne 7-0. Jacob Townsend got the mound victory going 6 innings striking out 8 and giving up only 3 hits and 2 walks.
Taylor Anderson led the offense hitting a double and triple with 1 RBI. Scott Abt added two RBI's on a single while Jeremy Johnson, Troy Townsend, and Jeff Harding hit safely once.

Vikings Fall to Bulldogs 8-4
The Vikings took their 1st loss of the season 8-4 against NC.
Freshman Jeff harding, Jr took the mound defeat and pitched 5 innings, striking out 6,and giving up 4 hits. Harding added a double in the 7th inning.
Tyler Walls and Jacob Jackson each collected 2 hits. Walls hit a double and Jackson drove in two runs. Taylor Anderson hit a single and Jake Townsend stroked a double.
Logan LeCOmpte pitched in relief going 3 innings.
CSD returns 7 starters for the 2011 season. Seniors, Scott Abt, Jacob Jackson, Troy Davis, Zed Grafton, and Tyler Walls bring leadership and experience. Taylor Anderson, Jacob Townsend, and Jacob Muir will step into starting spots to make the Vikings strong. Logan LeCompte and Brandon Landgraf are expected to add depth to the pitching rotation.
New comers Craig Elzey,Jeremy Johnson, Stephen Horner,and Jeff Harding will be welcome additions to the squad.
Stephen Koethe is recovering from surgery and may not be available for the season.
