NSA EXPANSION FOR 2012!
Massachusetts NSA Area Director Frank Petruzzello is pleased to announce that beginning in 2012, leagues currently operating in Springfield, Longmeadow and Churches that were formally ASA will now become NSA leagues. Over 60 teams and approximately 30 umpires will join NSA for the 2012 season. Dan McLaughlin has been appointed District Director and will continue with the staff he's assembled from the ASA regime.
Besides the additions of Springfield, Longmeadow and the Church league, NSA State Director's have made contact over the last few weeks with Town officials and field directors of over a dozen Towns spanning from western Mass. to northern Connecticut. The outlook and response has been very positive!
NSA Northeast will be announcing their 2012 Tournament schedule in early January. This year's program will include a Rec. (league only) series of tournaments with that grand winner qualifying for a Super World series berth in October of 2012! There also will be a revised tournament schedule for all actual tournament teams in the B, C, D & E divisions.
