Daniel Boone Coaches Association Baseball Organization Reorganized!
The Daniel Boone Coaches Association Baseball organization (DBCA) formerly referred to as Legion Baseball has been revitalized into an exciting, effective and efficient organization with newly minted bylaws. The purpose of DCBA is to provide an opportunity for every child living in the Daniel Boone School District with an interest in the game of baseball an opportunity to play and compete at a level that that allows them to succeed and grow in their knowledge of baseball and love of the game.
The newly structured DBCA has a Board of eleven (11) newly elected members. The Board positions are as follows: President, Mike Dekker, Vice President, Jeff Conkle, Treasurer, Brooke Kramer, Secretary, Jackie Herring, Baseball Commissioner, Charlie Baer, Business Manager, Bill DeFalco, Public Relations Director, Rhonda Maloney, Facilities Director, Mike Spayd, Municipal Liaison, Lisa Miller, At Large Board Members, Jeff Coralnick and Tom Heffner. This team of Board Members is committed to providing the best environment for the children of our community to play baseball.
The DBCA provides various opportunities for every child to play baseball. The organization has multiple leagues for teams to join depending on number of registered players and skill levels. Opportunities exist with Sr. Legion (ages 16 to 19), Jr. Legion (ages 14 to 15), Jr. Legion Prep (age 13), Sr. Babe Ruth (age 16 to 18), Babe Ruth (ages 13 to 15), City County Diamond League (age 12), City County Prep (age 13), City County Jr. (ages 14-15), and City County Sr. (ages 16-19).
The DBCA welcomes the community to join us at our regularly scheduled meetings. The DBCA meets on the first Sunday of each month.
