2009 Rats Start Season Off With Win
The 2009 Riverrats started the new season with an opening day win against the Thunder by a score of 4-1. The Rats used 5 pitchers to keep the Thunder offense off balance. Best of all, no pitcher allowed a walk. Offensively the Rats looked rusty as they managed only 3 hits. Next up for the Rats are the Angels at 8:30 on Wednesday night.

Round One Goes To Halo's
Round one of four games to be played against the Angels goes the Halo's way. After scoring a run in the top of the first on a balk call, the Rats gave up 2 in the bottom half and never answered. The Angels tacked on one more run in the 3rd inning after a walk, two errors and a wild pitch. That would be the final margin as the Angels won 3-1.
