Hello! We would like to welcome you to Destiny Cheer, Kansas City's premiere cheerleading program. We are 'The Next Generation' of cheerleading! Our staff prides itself on being the best of the best. The athletes in the Destiny Cheer program will be working with our High School, All-Star, and Collegiate Nationally Ranked & Recognized staff. We are changing the way people view cheerleading. Cheerleading is no longer a popularity contest. It has grown into a crafted sport where athletes train nearly year round for their one moment of glory. Victory!
Practice the week of Thanksgiving
Destiny Cheer teams will not be practicing Wednesday, November 25 or Thursday, November 26. We will be substituting team practices for those to days on Sunday, November 22. Level 2 will practice from 12-2:30pm and Level 4 will practice from 3-5:30pm. Please make sure all athletes will be there. Practices for Monday, November 23 and Tuesday, November 24 will remain the same. Please call the gym if you have any questions or issues.
Open Gym will be held every Thursday 7:30-9:30pm and Saturday 12:00-2:00pm. $10/athlete if non-member and $7/athlete if member. Members are athletes who have registered in the Destiny Cheer program.
The equipment is in and ready to go!!!
Tumbling classes will begin October 5 at 7:30pm. Please make sure to fill out a hard copy registration form and bring it with you the first day of class. Tuition will be due at the first session and the first of the month thereafter.
The first OPEN GYM will be held this Thursday, October 7 starting at 7:30pm-9:30pm.
Team practices have commenced and will remain on schedule. We have already begun working on skills for choreography and will be continuing.
Updated Competition Schedule
Please check out the revised competition schedule on the Competition Schedule page. The total competition entry fees has not changed. Please also check for airline prices now, as they are pretty cheap (around $59 each way). Also, make sure to keep the third weekend of April open as we may attend the US Finals competition here in KC. This is a qualification only event, so we may go if we have teams that qualify.
Fall Schedule
The fall schedule has been posted to the website under "Class Schedule". Please print, fill out, and return a hard copy Class Registration form to the Destiny Cheer office when you come for your first class. This form can also be found on the "Class Schedule" page.
Practice Clothing Schedule
The schedule for what practice clothes to wear is now posted. You can view it at the bottom of the home page or on the Calendar. The color represents which t-shirt to wear, you can pair it with any color of the shorts.
Team Placements
If you missed team placements, please call or email the office to set up your team placement workout session. We still have room on our teams and would love for you to be a part of The Next Generation in cheerleading.

Tuition Payments
Reminder - Tuition is due by the 1st of the month. Late Fees will be assessed if not paid by the 5th.
OPEN GYM

Beginning this week we will need everyone who attends open gym to fill out a new waiver. You can download the Waiver by clicking the link above, or pick one up at the gym. All Open Gym partcipants MUST have a waiver on file in order to participate in Open Gym.

Inclement Weather
Destiny Cheer follows the Blue Valley School District inclement weather closing schedule. If the Blue Valley School District is closed due to weather, Destiny will not have classes that day.
