DFW HAWKS win 1 of their toughest games ever over the DFW Vipers 32-24. It took the Hawks all 4 quarters to over come injuries, turnovers, and being down 24-8 at halftime, to win their third AEFL Championship. Great season Hawks! The team is now a perfect 33-0 in the AEFL.

DFW HAWKS move to 10-0 and are headed to AEFL XI after defeating the Texas Takeover 48-23. It was a hot day and a tough battle but the Hawks pulled away at the end of the 3rd quarter.

DFW Hawks move to (9-0) and are headed to the AEFL semi finals after defeating the North Texas Sharks 46-8. The Hawks will spend the week preparing for the Texas Takeover (6-3).

Hawks move to 8-0 and prepare for the 2012 playoffs. The Hawks had 40 points at halftime. This allowed them to clear the bench and get the team ready for the playoffs. #2 Bell broke the AEFL passing touchdown record. The offense broke the AEFL record for points scored in the regular season with 449 points / avg. 56 points a game. The defense set a franchise record for only allowing 91 points in the regular season. (2010 P.A. = 116 / 2011 P.A. = 95)

The Hawks had one of their tougher battles this season against the Takeover. The Hawks trailed twice in this game and then they opened it up in the 3rd quarter. #2 Bell caught a touchdown pass from #8 Howard, rushed for a TD, and passed for 4 TDs. He had 2 TDs to #13 "HAWKSFAN" and 1 each to #19 Polk and #17 Updegraff. The defense played another great game holding the Takeover to just 16 points up until the last few minutes of the game. Special teams did not score on a return but they did score on a punt with a fumble recovery. Next up the N.T. Trojans.

Hawks move to 6-0 after taking down the Lewisville Savage. Another shoutout for the defense and special teams scores again with a punt return by #24 Hasley. The offense stays hot with #2 Bell throwing 5 TD passes and catching 1. #25 Clater also rushed 1 in.

The Hawks dominated the depleated Rams in week 5. The defense had its first shut out of 2012 and the offense scored 7 touchdowns. Special teams kept their scoring streak alive by scoring twice with a punt return by #24 Hasley and a fumble recovery by #6 Melton on a kickoff.

Hawks move to 4-0 after they beat the North Texas Sharks. #2 Bell had another outstanding performance with 5 touchdown passes, 3 to #21 Payne and 1 each to #1 Clark and #8 Howard. The defense held another team to 3 points and special teams scored once again.

Hawks kept up the intensity and move to 3-0. Another special teams TD was delivered by #8 Howard and the defense held the Stallions to just 3 points. #2 Bell kept it rolling and the offense had 5 touchdowns

The Hawks dominated the DFW Vipers, who have a roster composed of many players from the legendary DFW Diesel. All week long prior to this game, the Vipers players were telling the league that "The Hawks were gonna learn this week!" But in the end the Vipers had to learn talk is cheap and the Hawks were not going to take the trash talking lightly. The Hawks dominated the game from the first whistle and did not stop until the game was over. The defense held the Vipers to 8 point per half and were lead this week with an outstanding performance by #22 Latroy Woodruff, who had the first score of the game with a pick 6. The offense put up a great performance as well scoring 5 touchdowns on the day and they were lead by the offensive line of #75 Battle, #98 Nelson, and #70 Elekwachi who dominated the Vipers defense line ALL DAY LONG! Great win in week 2!

The 2012 season kicked of with a lack luster win for the Hawks. Even though the final score totals were high, both sides of the ball had thier share of mistakes. The team will really need to step their game up for week 2 when the Hawks face the DFW Vipers.
