Saturday the 8th bball will have a game at Charlotte Middle School. It is only a boys game starting at 7:45pm. No bus transportation; therefore, be dressed and ready AT CHARLOTTE MIDDLE AT 7:00pm. No bus coming home either so parents need to pick you up at CMS after game.

Bball wear white DMS animal print shirt with warm up jackets, and bow. Bball ladies be dressed and ready at 4:00 tomorrow evening for our home game. :) if anything changes I will call the school to annouce it. This will give us time to review.

I contacted Coach Satterfield and he said the game has been cancelled for tonight... we are going to keep in touch as the week goes on, so just keep watching for updates. If school is closed for snow, then there is NO PRACTICE either. Enjoy the time off and be safe in the snow. :)

Dear Ladies -
As a squad everyone decided they would like to donate gifts and support a family this Christmas. There is a family at Oakmont Elementary that really needs our support. If you cannot give at this time, then do not feel like you have to do so. Here is a list of the kids, their age, and sizes all from the same family:
5th grade boy (age 10) – size shirt: 8, size pants: 9, shoe size: 2 adult, jacket: 9, loves playing soccer
3rd grade boy (age 8) – size shirt: 8, size pants: 8, shoe size: 14 1/2 , jacket: 8, loves to play games
1st grade boy (age 7) – size shirt: 7, size pants: 7, shoe size: 13, jacket: 7, loves puzzles, coloring, cars
3 year old toddler at home also – size shirt: 3, size pants: 4, shoe size: 9 kids, jacket: 6
All four of them are boys who are always smiling and love their siblings. They always talk about playing kickball and soccer with their brothers. Their parents have asked for clothes and a few toys. I would also like to collect money to get the parents a gift card to Wal-Mart to help with food items. Please communicate with each other in buying the items so that we do not get a TON of one thing. Bring your item/items to the Christmas Party on Saturday. If you would like to wrap your items then please stick a note on the outside to which kid and the item that is inside. If needed, I will be collecting gifts through Tuesday, December 14th. The parents have been told to come by the school for a conference on the 15th, and they will be shocked to see all the gifts for their family.

Ladies, Christmas party is this upcoming Saturday, Dec. 11th from 11am-1pm. We are going to move this party to Kalin Chestnut's house for more room. :)
If you need directions please contact myself or Kalin for them. Also remember to bring a wrapped gift to play Dirty Santa. Gift limit is $20 max. I will have a sign up sheet for everyone this week to bring food. If you are not cheering at this time, please come by to practice after school on Tuesday to sign up for something. I will also have up information about our Christmas Angel that we are sponsoring very soon... just bring the gift to the party to add to everyone gifts. :)

Ladies sell these cards and everytime they are used we get a percentage from the sells. :) they can be used for groceries, gas, pharmacy, and at any kroger in the state. We are looking for people/companies interested in sponsoring our cheer squads. This money would be used for gear and items souly for the cheer squads. There are currently four ways to sponsor us.... $50 for a small logo placed on a cheer sign, $100 for a banner with your logo or any text to hang in balcony of gym, order crowd items to be thrown with our logo on them, or a donation of any amount. The Pep Rally starts at 9:00am so we will be leaving DMS at 8:15 to get over there and seated. Then we will do lunch, and return to DMS NO LATER THAN 1:00pm. Parade begins at 1:30, so it should be done by 2:00 at DCHS. Parents need to pick up girls at DCHS at 2:00pm. IF you are leaving with anyone else, you need to bring a note for permission. I will have a sign out sheet for all the girls as they are leaving from DCHS.

On Friday, Sept. 24th, we will participate in DCHS Homecoming. You will need to have a note from your parent saying you can check out with the cheerleading squad at 8:15am from DMS to go to DCHS. You may give it to the office for them to put it in my mailbox or give it to me at practices, etc.
The squads will leave DMS at 8:15am and ride with coaches and/or parents from DMS to DCHS. We will watch the pep rally at DCHS, go to lunch in town, and then go back to DMS for parade. The parade will end at DCHS, where all cheerleaders need to be picked up. The times for each event have not yet been released; therefore, I do not exact time the parade will be over as of now. After pick up from the parade, the girls are free for the day. ? I am excited about sharing this day with the girls. Let me know if you have any questions.

Good Job Ladies on Thursday! Ms. Janessa kept in touch with me throughout the night and said you all did great! I apologize that I was not there due to health issues; although, I am proud to hear what a great job you did! I have been blessed with an awesome squad this year... thank you! I just wanted to say, Monday 13th we will be starting our pep rally dance. Ms. Janessa and I have been working on the music this week. Football girls - Thursday I will order pizza and head straight to the school. I need you to get dressed and ready for the game as soon as the bell rings and then meet me in the lobby for food.
