DUARTEAN GETS CALLED UP TO THE CINCINNATI REDS
Carlos Fisher of Duarte got called up on Friday to pitch for the Cincinnati Reds. It is his first call to the Majors. (On May 24),Carlos Fisher (1-0), Cincinnati's fifth pitcher, pitched a scoreless 11th to get the win in his major league debut. Current DYAC players Gabriel & Sophia Arellano are the proud cousins!

News: The Reds called up Fisher from Triple-A Louisville. [-]
Impact: Fisher was 2-0 with a 2.00 ERA in 13 relief appearances at Louisville. His first appearance will be his major league debut.

Mission Statement
Duarte Youth Athletic Club seeks to protect our nation's youth by implanting in the youth of our community ideals of good sportsmanship, courage, obedience, loyalty, truth, and reverence so that they may be finer, stronger, and happier adults. This objective will be reached by providing supervised competitive games. The supervisors shall bear in mind, at all times, that the attainment of exceptional athletic skills is secondary and that the molding of future citizens is of prime importance.
We offer divisional play for the following ages during the months of February thru July:
