DIVISION DIRECTORS NEEDED
The 2012 Spring Season is quickly approaching and the EBBL is seeking assistance. As you know, the East Brunswick Baseball League relies solely on volunteers to be our Executive Board, Managers, and Coaches.
The EBBL is currently seeking volunteers for the role of Division Directors for baseball and softball:
Baseball: each age group (5 – 12 year olds) will have a designated Division Director who will assist in the communications between the VP of Baseball and the Managers of their assigned age group. In total, we are in need of 8 volunteers to fill these positions.
Softball: each age group (6U, 8U, 10U, 12U) will have a designated Division Director who will assist in the communications between the VP of Softball and the Managers of their assigned age group. In total, we are in need of 4 volunteers to fill these positions.
Any registered players’ parent may apply for one of these openings.* Being chosen to be a Division Director will also fulfill your work bond obligation for the Spring season.
If you are interested in becoming a Division Director, please send an e-mail to Carl Nelson, VP of Baseball, at VP_Baseball@ebbl.org or to Dhar Khona, VP of Softball, at girlssoftball@ebbl.org, with the following information:
- Your name
- Player’s name
- Player’s age group
- Your contact information, to include home and cell numbers and email address
Division Directors may be Managers, coaches or parents who wish to help out by volunteering their time. Please note that Division Directors are appointed to an age group to which their child does not participate in.
Thank you for your support of the EBBL!
Rules and Policy 2012 Volunteers
Volunteers are needed for the 2012 EBBL Rules and Policy Committee. The committee will review the current rules and policies for Baseball and Softball and make recommendations to the executive board for changes/updates for the 2012 season.
EBBL values the input of membership in shaping the direction of league. If you would like to volunteer for this committee please contact Gary Berdoff, VP Rules and Policy at Rules@ebbl.org.
