Bandits tops Hudson AAA in back-and-forth affair, 3-2

Bandits outlasted Hudson AAA on Saturday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 3-2 win at Bollinger #2.

Bandits took the lead in the sixth inning and held on for the victory. An error scored Jake Varsho and gave Bandits the lead for good.

Dalen Corn did his best to jumpstart the offense for Bandits, reaching base two times. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the second inning.

Jack Piper put together a nice outing. Hudson AAA managed just one hit off of the Bandits' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work.

In the bottom of the second, Bandits grabbed the early lead, 1-0. Jack doubled to ignite Bandits' offense, before Dalen doubled, bringing home Jack.

Bandits survives Polk-Burnett rally, escapes with 5-3 victory

Polk-Burnett wasn't able to overcome the big hole it dug itself into against Bandits, and Polk-Burnett lost 5-3 to Bandits after falling behind by four runs in the second inning.

Polk-Burnett scored on an RBI single by Austin and an RBI single by Wyatt in the third inning and a passed ball in the fifth inning. Unfortunately, Polk-Burnett wasn't able to take the lead back.

Jake Varsho boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace Bandits. He singled in the first, second, and fifth innings.

Bandits never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring one run on a groundout by Nate McMahon.

Dalton Banks's effort not enough inBandits's 7-4 loss

Not even a strong hitting and pitching performance from Dalton Banks could carry Bandits past La Crosse at Bollinger #2 on Sunday as Bandits suffered a 7-4 defeat.

Dalton went a perfect 1-1 at the dish for Bandits. He doubled in the sixth inning.

La Crosse couldn't get anything going as long as Dalton was pitching. B gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

The bottom of the first saw Bandits take an early lead, 3-0. Nate McMahonsingled to ignite Bandits' offense. Zach Caterer singled, plating Calvin Tanner. Bandits then tacked on more runs when M scored on an RBI single by Paxton Gluch and B scored on a steal of home.

La Crosse went up for good in the second, scoring five runs on an RBI double by Erickson, two errors, and two singles.

La Crosse tacked on another two runs in the third. A single by Gavrilos ignited the offense,, scoring Pica. That was followed up by Larson's single, plating Fischer.

After pushing across one run in the bottom of the sixth, Bandits faced just a 7-4 deficit. An RBI single by Paxton triggered Bandits' comeback. La Crosse closed the game out when Pica got Jack Piper to.

Bandits cruises past Winona, MN, 7-0

Bandits pounded Winona, MN on Sunday 7-0 at Bollinger #2 in six innings.

Bandits scored three runs in the fifth on Bandits scored in the fifth on an RBI double by Nate McMahon, a wild pitch, and an error.

Jake Varsho got on base two times in the game for Bandits. He singled in the third inning.

Winona, MN couldn't get anything going as long as Paxton Gluch was pitching. Winona, MN managed just one hit off of the Bandits' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Bandits didn't relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the second inning when it scored on an RBI double by Paxton and an RBI single by Dalen Corn.
