SEASON 3 IS HERE *East Coast Flag Football* Dedicated to Billy Jones
Week six was a fun filled week that's for sure. We saw Rockstar lose twice without their QB, Wildcard look good with their QB and the Gators did what they do and prooved me wrong and blew out Brick Squad.
The first game of the day was between Team Rockstar and the Ciccone Outlaws. Charlie Holiday came to play this week and he dominated the entire game. He made all the plays when they needed them and Lorenzo didn't touch the ball much this week which made it that much more impressive the way Mr. Holiday played. Mr Ciccone also kicked two extra points and looked great doing it. Rockstar looked all out of sync this week without Jeff running the offense. TR argued like they used to and in my opinion was the reason they lost this week. Although Nate made maybe the best catch of the entire season thats all Rockstar did this week. The final of the game was Ciccone 21 Rockstar 14.
The second game of the day between the EP Ballers and Team Rockstar. Once again Rockstar looked all discombobulated on offense although they did score three TDs. They picked of Dru multiple times setting up great field position for their offense. Luis had two rushing TDs but also threw a pick six witch was the difference in the game. If Doonie is going to be out for multiple weeks EP is in some serious trouble because Dru can not throw the ball over five yards. Their run game is great but wont be able to cover the offense with no passing game. Cardel came in and did a great job but we will see how they play in the up coming weeks. EP won this one 21-20.
The Black Knights have been having trouble scoring all year long but this week might have turned things around. The Knights got somethings going on offense and score 12 points. This is the first time this season we can say that their defense let them down. Although the defense played ok they still allowed 20 points to Pigg and company this week. Pigg found his playmakers Jordan and Andre this week as their offense moved the ball all game long. The Spartans won this meeting 20 - 12.
Ritt is one of the most underrated players in the entire ECFF. He took a brand new team in Wildcard and made them one of the top tier teams in the league. This week they played Relentless who themselves are new to the league and have already showed teams they are here to stay. They had the ball with a chance to tie the game with under a minute left but Wildcards defense came through and did not let them get a first down. Ritt completed a TD to Matt that ended up being the final TD. Although the Relentless defense played well once again they feel to Wildcard 14 - 6.
Beats Mode vs FDP.....turned out just the way i thought it would.....boring. FDP had a few replacement players on their offensive and defensive lines and they played alright they just could not cover Brandon as him and Jamal hooked up multiple times this week. FDP's offense looked alright they are definitely getting better but they could just not get the ball in the endzone once again. This game was over from the beginning as Beast Mode won 20 - 0.
Brick Squad just couldnt handle The Gators offense this week. Brick Squad made a few good plays on the Gators secondary but could not get the ball in the endzone. AC hooked up with Evora for a bomb and he cooked his way all the way down the field. The Gators defensive line looked sharp this week as they were at the QB almost every play including one safety. It was a dominant performance from the Gators once again on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. They won the game quite easily with the final being 26 - 0.
Week six only had six games and although most of them were fun to watch I can not wait for week seven when we have two fields going once again. Good luck next week and lets keep this year going.

Week 6 Previews
After a week off for Mothers day the ECFF is back at it again for week 6. Although there is only 6 games this week the scheduled has its fair share of great games. We will see if Team Rockstar can be a dominant team once again as they are the only team with a double header. Wilcard is playing a tough team in Relentless which will be a great matchup for both teams. The last game of the day will be between The Gators and Brick Squad who both have had their fair share of problems. We are instore for a great week.
Team Rockstar vs Ciccone OutlawsNow that they have a new QB i cant wait to see how they play with the combination of Nate and Helano with Jeff. Any defense in this league should be scared of Rockstars athleticism with the brothers back. Everyone knows they can score points with this offense but they need to make some stops if they want to win games. Especially this week when they are going up against Ciccone Outlaws. To win this game Rockstar will need to first and foremost shut down Lorenzo Perry who has been weaving around the opposing defenses each and every week. If Rockstar wants to win they will need to start by shutting him down. Ciccone has had its own QB problems over the past few weeks. Bucky has been a little off the past couple weeks and if he can get going look for Ciccone to go along way this year. I look for this one to be a back and forth type game and they score to be extremely high. Cant wait for this one.
EP Ballerz vs Team RockstarRockstar will have both hands full this week as their second game will be against the EP Ballers. We will see this week if Donnie is healthy enough not only to win but to play at all after the rumors of his injury this past week. Without Donnie playing QB who knows what EPs offense will look like cause we all know what their offense looked like before Donnie, it looked like a pop warner football team and thats giving tem credit. Due to the offense taking a hit like that the EP defense which has been playing great all year needs to play great this week to get the W. It all starts up front with their dline which is led by Jeff who can get to the QB at will. The Oline for Rockstar will need to step it up this week as well as Luis and Estaban. They will need to be a big help coming out of the backfield this week. I think Rockstar is ready to make its run and they will win this one easily.
Spartans vs Black KnightsThe Black Knights had high hopes at the beginning of the season but their offense is atrocious. Their defense on the other hand has been playing awesome to start the season. Their secondary is great starting with their CB tandem in Jose Dure and Eliiot who have both been playing lights out thus far. Too bad for them that their offense can not get any thing going period. They will need to score points this week though cause if they dont it will end up in yet another lose for them. They will be playing Pigg and the Spartans this week whcih will make their week tough thats for sure. Pigg has been playing great this season but needs to play perfect this week to get the job done. He needs to find his play makers Andre and Jordan and let them make plays to release some pressure off of himself this week. I think that the Spartans will score maybe once but it will be more then enough this week and they will walk away with the win. Wildcard and Relentless are both teams in the middle of the pack in the ECFF but can both make some serious noise closer to June and July.
Relentless vs WildcardWildcard is going to be playing without Ritt once again who has a sprained ACL. It didnt effect them too much last week as Johnny ran the helm quite well but to make a serious run Ritt will need to be a 100 %. Wildcard has a little bit of everything and their oline will need to play great this week as Relentless' dline is well Relentless. Starting with Big Eugene who has been dominating every oline so far this season. Relentless will need to look out for Upchurch but Stephon will definitely be a tough match up for anyone on Wildcard. This will be a great game to watch and i will not be missing it thats for sure.
Beast Mode vs FDPBeast Mode and FDP will be playing this week and I will probably be watching the little league game instead of this game but we will see. Both teams are working to become good teams but it will take a couple more players and a couple more sessions for both teams. For whatever team is going to win their QB needs to play better then the opposing one. Jamal is most likely going to be playing QB for beast mode who had thought that would have Porno playing that position but Jamal needs to play the way he did at the beginning of last season. If he can then Beast Mode will have a shot this week. On the other side of the ball FDP will need their QB Mike to step up and find his play makers. FDP is new to this league and it shows, they just need a little more time to build their squad. I think this game will be low scoring but who ever score first should win the game with the momentum the first score will bring to either team.
Gators vs Brick SquadBrick Squad was playing well and still is up to date but can they actually get a win vs a top team in the league. Although they have been playing every team tough they have yet to get over the hump and beat a solid team. They can try this week as they will be facing the Gators who have been talking and chomping their way through all of their opponents. Although Brick Squad lost their starting QB they have still been playing well as of late. We will see this week if they can find their guys who can make plays against the Gators weak secondary. Lead by Jay Rut at QB BS will need to find Sosa Joe and He Hate Me if they stand a chance to play with the mighty Gators. AC and company will find the end zone that's for sure but will their defense step up this week. I think Brick Squad can go score for score with the Gators but it all comes down to who can get more stops. This will be a high scoring affair i cant wait to see who comes out on top.

In memory of a great man and friend to East Coast Flag Football we have decided to dedicate this opening season and every season after it to BILLY JONES. Billy was one of the forefounders helping behind the scenes and never wanted any recognition all he wanted to do is play football. So in memory of him we are also announcing that we will name our MVP award after him.

Statistics Each week stats are going to be thoroughly kept ensuring that our players are being recognized for their outstanding efforts they display on the field. These stats will be the Top 5 in the following categories: interceptions,sacks,receiving touchdowns, passing touchdowns,and rushing touchdowns,
The "Player of the Week" awards will part of the process we will incorporate to determine the Offensive and Defensive MVP's of the League.
