NORTH 2 GROUP 4 SECTIONALS
The NJSIAA North 2, Group 4 Sectional meet was hands down the most competitive in the state and a handful of Eagles were able to step up and punch their ticket to the Group 4 State Championships next weekend! Sophomore Naomi Gulama placed 6th in the Triple Jump, inching her sophomore record up a bit. The 4 x 400 relay team of Emily Greer, Amanda Brown, Carla Gray and Kayla Lubonski placed 5th out of the unseeded heat in a season best 4:00.57. This is the 3rd straight year that the girls have advanced in the always competitive 4 x 400 at this meet. Amanda Brown also placed 3rd in the 400m Hurdles in 63.26, breaking the junior class record.
