The boys put forth a great effort on Saturday, but ended up a little short. I was pleased with the level of play and we are cutting back on the mistakes we make. I wanted to give an update of what our schedule will be for the next couple of months.

Saturday, Dec 5, District Cup, Game 1, game time - 8:30am (be there at 7:45am) at Olympus Park #1 EG Arsenal vs. Tahoe Park Atlas Red (wear all blue bring white)
Saturday, Dec 5, District Cup, Game 2, game time - 2:45pm (be there at 2:00pm) at Olympus Park #1 49er United Fusion vs. Elk Grove Arsenal (wear all blue bring white)
Sunday, Dec 6, District Cup, Game 3, game time - 11:30am (be there at 10:45am) at Olympus Park #1 Elk Grove Arsenal vs. Eureka Wolverines (wear all white bring blue)
Monday, Dec 7, Only if we go to the District Cup Championship (Otherwise we are off this week) practice 6-7:30pm at COHS (Cosumnes Oaks High School) NE field
Thursday, Dec 10, Only if we go to the District Cup Championship (Otherwise we are off this week) practice 6-7:30pm at COHS (Cosumnes Oaks High School) SW field
Saturday, Dec 12, District Cup Championship (if we qualify), game time - 12:30pm (be there at 11:45am) at Cherry Island #7 (wear all blue bring white)

We have a good opportunity to do well in the District Cup. All three teams are U14, but from lower divisions. If we make it to the championship, we will have practice the week of Dec. 7, otherwise we will we will take some well deserved time off from soccer until the week of Dec. 28. But please stay conditioned and work on your skills individually.
We have the Cassie Rowe Tournament on Jan 2 & 3. This is a local Sacramento charity tournament. I'd like to get a head count as to how many players will be available for this tournament and will be available for practice the week of Dec 28th. I am off that week and in town. I'd like to do 2 practices during the day and need your input as to whether your son will be available.
Also in the past we have played futsal / indoor soccer in January and February. Please let me know if you plan on playing this year. I will have to check with our treasurer to see if the team can pay for the event or if we need to charge players (this was not included in the budget). Please let me know if your son wants to play indoor soccer / futsal.

We have the Association Cup Jan 9 & 10 and the following weekends should we advance. More information to follow on location and times.
Practice Times
Practice continues at Cosumnes Oaks High School under the lights. Monday's at our regular spot on the North end of the East field. Thursday's somewhere on the other field. And remember to bring warm-ups be warm during and after our grueling practice.
