1st Annual Soccer Swap Have any gently used soccer cleats and shin guards that don't fit your child anymore? Hate paying high prices for new gear that the kids use for one season and then grow out of?
Start packing them up now and get ready for the collection boxes...we will be accepting gently used soccer equipment donations for a soccer swap and equipment sale on June 9th. (Please contact us for drop off)
We will be taking donations for the used gear swap (no set prices, we just ask that you give what you can) and selling some new equipment. Great way to find soccer equipment for the upcoming season at ridiculously low prices!
EGYSL will be hosting 2 recreational soccer camps this year. Camps will include training from our FC Elk Grove Coaches as well as experienced college players. Staff is committed to help campers attain and improve their fundamental skills, make new friends, and have fun. Will include sessions for diled players and goalkeepers. The curriculum will focus on technical development and soccer skill improvement.

Week 1 - June 25 - 28 | 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Week 2 - July 2 - 6 | 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Off July 4)

2012 Coaches-
The Coaches meeting is set for Tuesday July 24th. Time and location TBD. All Head coaches and Asst Coaches are asked to participate. Food will be provided in appreciation of your time volunteered to coach our players.
Coaches will pick up equipment, team binders and coaches shirts if needed. We will be discussing the upcoming season.

NOTE: In order to be a Coach for Elk Grove Soccer Club, you MUST complete a Coaching interest form. This form must be completed EVERY YEAR (for those coaches who are returning).
RETURNING COACHES: It is expected that you at least obtain an F license as a returning Head Coach. We recommend Coaches for older teams (U11+) should pursue an E license if you already have your F. (Licenses can only be earned in order: F, E, E/D, National D)

Ashlie Rhodes is a beautiful 13 year old girl that has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. She has started Chemo therapy which will last a minimum of 6-8 months during which time she will not be able to attend school and her parents will have to be available to take care of her.If you would like to help the family in some way, you can contact them via email at sharleenhoth@yahoo.com or donhoth@yahoo.com.
