 All coaches, assistant coaches and families are welcome. (RSVP is required by Dec 6th- RSVP online )
As a thank you, one coach and one assitant coach from each team will be no charge.  Each additional guest is $20.00. 
 
Drop off equipment and stay for Dinner. 
 
Immediately following the Coaches’ Dinner we will be holding the AGM (Annual General Meeting).

2009 Coach of the Year
 
Elk Grove Soccer Club is now accepting nominations for Coach of the Year
Nominations are due November 28, 2009 by 5:00 PM.
 
Nominations may be submitted by downloading the nomination form and emailing to Manager@EGHerdSoccer.com or you may submit your nominations online.
 
Selection Criteria:
  • Sportsmanship:

Does the coach promote sportsmanship? Does the coach instill sportsmanship in his/her players and parents beyond soccer? Are players encouraged to be respectful of opponents and the game?  Does the coach practice what he/she preaches?

  • Player development:

Are players motivated to learn and play to the extent of their ability? Does the coach create a training environment that allows for enthusiasm, creativity and self-confidence? Are players encouraged to seek higher competition? Does coach encourage players to train on their own or play in "pick-up" games?

  •   Involvement in Community:
 Is the coach active in the community? Does the coach positively influence soccer beyond his own team or club? Is the coach open to     new ways of teaching? How does the coach promote the game?

Rosters - Rosters will be frozen as of August 10 each year. No transfers from team to team will be allowed without a written request (Form 1606) to and permission from the EGYSL First Vice President and payment of fee.

Transfer Policy - Competitive, Select and CPL - Transfers are to be entered on the transfer form (1606 dated 2007 or later) and processed per the District procedures. Recreational U14 and below - A player may move from one team to another team by completing a transfer form (1606 dated 2007 or later). The request shall be forwarded to the EGYSL First Vice-President for approval or denial. A fee of $30.00 shall accompany the request. Transfers shall only be allowed between August 11 and September 1. If the request is denied, the fee will be refunded.

 Refund Policy - EGYSL registration fees are refundable on the following schedule: Prior to June 1: Full refund June 1 to September 1: 50% refund September 1 and beyond: No refund
