CBA Joins our Family
Geneva Oh - Once
again, Greg Sidoris and I have come to an agreement of sponsorship. The
Cleveland Baseball Acadamy(CBA), in its's 15th year and 9th at Lost
Nation Sports Park, have offered us sponsorship for the 5th year.
Terms of this arraingment will not be disclosed by either party.
Suffice to say, you will be seeing alot of this team around LNSP this
winter, once again. Thanks Greg, for your continued support.

Mount Union wasn't the only Champion on Saturday in Alliance

Alliance, Ohio - The Danny
Szabo led Steel Supply squad swept thru the Purple Raiders home town
tourney on Saturday. Szabo's repetitive circus catches in left field
typically came in big situations.
Elk and Elk/Steel Supply/Easton went 3-0 in
Alliance by vertue of solid defense and timely hitting in the mucky
field conditions. Five teams were entered the USSSA event, all had a
good time.
Alliance Merchants finished 2nd, while Fourstar 3rd, in this one-pitch five inning tournament.
The Elksman have a Successful "Turkey Hunt"

Cleveland OH - Rain, mud, and wind all played major factors in this years, 26 - team annual event, held at Softball World. Showing their depth and nuggets, Elk and Elk/Steel Supply/Crete II/Easton, muddied through the fantastic field conditions to capture the tournament.
Starting the day off with a no show forfeit by R and R, the Elksters had to wait around another hour before facing their first opponent, Team Mills. In a pitchers duel, Elks' Cliff Majni out dueled Mills' Andy Perfect 2-0. Joe Davidson had a lead off triple in the bottom of the 4th, and then scored of Marce Porcello's Sac Fly.
Game Two saw the reformed squad blow a 2 run 5th inning lead to a pesky Pat Dees squad, then failing to score in their half before falling 5-4.
Rattling off 5 straight wins just to reach the finals, each team member had his share of key hits and defensive plays.
If you want to inspire a team full of fatties, tease them with losing out on their FREE turkeys!
Elk and Elk smelled the Honey Roasting apparently, as they double dipped previously unbeaten "Just Friends" to claim the awards!
On the season the Elksmen are now 15-3 with a 1st and 2nd place finish in their only 2 events.

NOVEMBER 7, 2006 - The 2007 edition of Elk and Elk/Steel Supply/Creative/Easton Sports has finally completed it's construction project. Adding Cliff Majni(Steel Supply) Eric Galon(Barille) and Jimmy Cecconi(Nager) this week. WOW!!!!
The team has also signed equipment deals with Easton and Tanel this month.
So it is looking great for the gang and it's return to the Ryan's Buffet Line come summer!!!!!!
It appears that the team will also play its league games at the newly discussed Mayfield Heights League come summer.
