Fallen Shamrock
The Elkhart Shamrock were deeply saddened this week by the sudden loss of one of our own. First year Shamrock Bill Lang lost his life in an auto accident Sunday morning September 19th, 2010. Bill had been injured and played in only one game this season, but we had great hopes for seeing him return next year, as his football potential was great and exciting. Yet now it is his off field potential as a fine young man, that will be missed even more by everyone that knew him. We send our thoughts and prayers out to all his loved ones and family. This was way too soon to lose such a fine young man. May God keep your hearts strong through this tragic time. Bill will be greatly missed but not forgotten. Though his time with us was all too short, he will always be a Shamrock.
INTERSTATE BOWL VII is HERE!!!! It has come down to this, Northern Champions The Battle Creek Blaze meet the Southern Champions The Indiana Generals at Trine University this Saturday September 25th, to decide the 2010 IFL Championship!!! The Blaze come into the I-Bowl with an 8-2 record and The Generals come in undefeated at 10-0. The Generals boast a high powered offense, and both teams have great defenses and special teams. This should prove to be an exciting end to one of the finest season's in IFL history! Don't miss out on all the exciting IFL CHAMPIONSHIP football action this Saturday at Trine University.
