Extreme Cheer - Organization Bio
Extreme Cheer (EC) is a cheer organization with a motivated and dedicated staff that has several years of cheerleading experience, Extreme Cheer is proud to support our many park sports leagues and recreation center events by cheering for them throughout the year. EC is a cheer program that promotes team spirit, community awareness, health and most of all a memorable competitive cheerleading experience in a safe and enriching program for the children in our community.
What makes EC different from other cheer programs is that we are offering a higher level of competitiveness in a quality program without the costly expenses. Our focus is Competitive Cheer, our goal is to increase exposure to this growing sport, as so many Universities offer scholarships for cheerleading. In turn, we hope this will encourage our youth to reach for better opportunities in life.
EC is made up of four cheer teams divided according to age:
* Extreme Cheer Black (Ages 10-13) (14 depending on birthdate)
Each team is composed of 5-8 adult staff members. Which includes:
* Head Team Advisor * Head Coach * Asst. Coaches * Trainers * Team Treasurers * Medic/First Aid/CPR Certified * Parent Booster Club
Our organization will give the youth an opportunity to express themselves through competitive cheer while establishing a sense of community responsibility. It is our goal to provide these children with positive motivation; teach team work and promote self esteem, while emphasizing scholastic achievements. Each participant must maintain a 2.0 grade point average or higher throughout the season. While praising their strides towards excellence, we will instill discipline, physical exercise, assist with developing of their talents and infuse a sense of accomplishment and always include a winning attitude focused on admirable sportsmanship. We recognize that there is more to winning, it's the attitude you take toward the competition and the skills you learn from the leaders that educate, develop, and instill goal oriented approaches toward athletic competition that will create the leaders of tomorrow.
