The Elite Touch & Flag Football Alliance (ETFFA) is making its inaugural season debut on March 20th, 2010 and March 21st, 2010. Stops on the tour will be East Carolina University – Greenville, NC and The Hall of Fame Classic in Canton, Ohio just to name a few.
The 2010 season is set to be one of the most exciting seasons in recent history to the sport of flag and touch football. The sport has endured bold changes designed to unlock its vast potential and ensure that players/fans can enjoy outstanding players competing in the most spectacular events. The Alliance Championship Tour represents change on an unprecedented scale in flag football.
Our Tournaments will feature teams of 9MAN Ineligible Flag, 8MAN Ineligible & Eligible Flag, 5MAN (No Contact) Flag, Co-Ed (No Contact) Flag and 7on7 Two-Hand Rough Touch Football for adults 18 years and older. With a minimum of 12 teams participating, prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams in every tournament on the tour. The more teams that register, the bigger the prize will be.
Depending on geographical location, every team needs to compete in 2 Tour events to fulfill their qualifications to ensure a spot in the Grand Finale Championships in March 2011. With each team’s participation, and with each of the results from their contest, this will ensure that the top teams will compete on the grandest stage for the largest reward in the game.
After the completion of our 15 tournament tour a MINIMUM of $10,000 will be set aside as the purse for the GRAND FINALE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT. The purse can easily EXCEED $10,000 with the notion that the more teams participate in “THE ALLIANCE” Championship tour 2010 season, the more the payout will be. Cash prizes for 2nd and 3rd place will also be rewarded in the grand finale event. “THE ALLIANCE” Grand Finale Championship Tournament will also reward teams that might not be as competitive as some, with a chance to compete amongst their peers and win something that normally would not be given in other events.
