Virginia Extreme Force

The Virginia Extreme Force is a premier girls fastpitch softball organization dedicated to helping young ladies succeed on the field, in the classroom and in the community through the positive lessons competitive sports can bring. The Extreme Force provides young ladies with the opportunties from 10U to 18U.

Congratulations to the 12U Extreme Force Red ladies for winning both of their games today and winning Got Game's Strike Out Hunger 2 Green Championship.  The girls fought to come back in the semifinals, winning 11-6.  Then went on to win the championship game 11-1.

10U Players Wanted/12U Tryouts Extended

Brad  Custer has been named coach of the 10U team, and he's looking for more players.  If you or someone you know is interested in playing on the 10U team, contact Brad at 540-871-6574.

Coach Darren Hodges has extended the tryouts for the Force 12U team.  Additional tryouts will be held on Tuesday, August 18 and Thursday, August 20, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. each day.  Contact Darren at if you need more information. 

18U Position Openings

Tryouts for the VA Extreme Force will be held at Northside High School on 8/3/15 - 8/6/15, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  Following is schedule:

  • Tuesday 8/4:        10U / 12U /14U
  • Wednesday 8/5:   16U / 18U
  • Thursday 8/6:       10U / 12U / 14U

16U Taylor Takes First Place at the GGF Strike Out Hunger Tournament

The Force '99's won the 16/18U GGF Strike Out Hunger tournament the weekend of July 11th.  The Force only allowed 9 runs in pool and bracket play.  Solid pitching and defense all weekend led the way.  Throw in 10 - 12 hits per game and you have a pretty good chance of winning.  There was great competition and fortunately the Force came out on top.  Great team effort ladies! 

16U Gallimore Takes Silver in 2015 Commonwealth Games

16U Gallimore finished 5 - 1 on the weekend to take the silver medal in the 2015 Virginia Commonwealth Games.  Congratulations ladies!

16U Gallimore Qualifies for 2015 ASA 16U National Championship

Virginia Extreme Force 16U Gallimore successfully qualified for the ASA 16U National Championship to be held in Chattanooga, Tennessee during the week of July 27th.  Congratulations to the team for qualifying for the second year in a row!

Extreme Force 10U Takes Second at the Got Game Pony Invitational

The Extreme Force 10U team finished second in the Got Game Pony Invitational in Burlington, NC the weekend of May 30-31, 2015.  Highlights of the team's play in the tournament include:
  • Overcoming 3-run and 4-run deficits in the last inning for two big comeback wins.
  • Winning back-to-back games on Sunday to make it to the championship game.

Congratulations to the players and coaches for representing the VA Extreme Force so well!
