14U-Mejia Takes 2nd at Girls Love Diamonds

Congratulations to our Extreme Force 14U-Mejia Team (Coach Vanessa Mejia) on taking 2nd place at the Girls Love Diamonds tournament in Covington, VA.  The day was characterized by cold, blowing winds and scraping defensive battles.  Strong pitching and tight, explosive Team defensive play led the Force to the second-place seed out of pool play and into the Championship Game.  Thanks to the members of the 14U-Blue team who guested in the games; the day was truly a full Team effort!  In the Championship Game, the Force played a well-hitting 3D team scoreless through four innings before the final go-ahead run scored in the bottom of the sixth with time expired.  Congratulations to our girls and our Coaches – a great first tournament for Team 14U-Mejia!

Parulis 14U Extreme Force traveled to Chapel Hill, NC to participate in a College Softball skills camp. The ladies gutted it out in 100 degree weather for a full day of hitting, fielding, throwing and situational defense instruction. Though hot and tired by the edn of the day, the ladies took away many pieces of useful advice to take their game to the next level.
