The Right Way To Play
-It doesn't take talent to hustle
-Character means doing the right thing when nobody's watching
-Don't tell people what you're worth, prove it to them.
Quote of the Week
The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand. -- Vince Lombardi

More "EXTREME HEAT" Guidelines!
EXCUSES - When you make excuses, you are basically transferring responsibility and hindering personal growth or improvement. The conscious acceptance of responsibility is a significant indicator of your maturity and mental toughness - remember: excuses die, achievement endures.
QUITTING - To be a true competitor, you must never give in and never give up. You realize that each pitch or play is important "in the moment" and you give each pitch or play your best effort, regardless of the score or the situation. Competing relentlessly increases your confidence in yourself; on the other hand, quitting reinforces a sense of incompetence or inadequacy.
