Welcome to the Fairborn Youth Wrestling Club
We will be having our end of season banquet on March 10 at 7:00PM. It will be held in the high school cafeteria. For anyone who has not turned in your singlets please bring them to the banquet.

We'd like to thank all of the parents and volunteers who made the first year a very successful year and we look forward to seeing everyone next season!

What is Fairborn Youth Wrestling Club?
Purpose: To learn the skills and techniques of the sport of Wrestling. In doing so, developing and demonstrating qualities of: initiative, persistence, diligence, courage, fairness, honor, responsibility, self-confidence and self-control. Winning is to be kept in the proper perspective by the kids, coaches and parents. This should be a fun experience for the kids!
Participants: Kids in grades K – 6th grade. The club accommodates “first time” up to “highly skilled” wrestlers. Our club is open to all children, regardless of attendance to Fairborn Schools.
Season Timeframe: November 16th, 2009 through February 21st, 2010
Practices: (3) nights per week
-Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in the Fairborn High School Wrestling Room
Competition: The club will participate in tournaments on Sundays. Wrestlers will be placed in round-robin brackets with kids their age and weight.

Additional Coaching from: FBMS Coach-Kevin Ferguson, Asst. FBMS Coach-Brandon Ferguson, Fairborn High and Middle School wrestlers and our outstanding Volunteer Dads
Cost: $65.00 per wrestler. Includes membership in the Miami Valley Kids Wrestling Association, entry into Sunday Youth tournaments, USA Wrestling card, club t-shirt and instruction.

-Emergency/Medical Information (forms can be downloaded and printed from the Hand Out section of this site.)
-Check/Money Order payable to: Fairborn Kids Wrestling Club---$65.00

Information for Practice:
Wrestling shoes should not be worn outside of the wrestling room.
You may bring your own water but water fountains will be available.
Bring a bag to place extra clothing (coats, gym shoes, etc.) into during practice.
Volunteers will be needed thoughout the season, if you are interested please see one of the coaches.
