The Western Mass Falcons
The Girls first weekend is over. They played a total of three games coming out with a 2-1 record. It started on Saturday with a 38-24 victory over the Vermont Lighting. It continued on Saturday with a 68-17 victory ovet the Da Fam from New Haven Conn. We finished up on Sunday with a game against the Rhode Island Breakers who we have played twice before spliting both games with them. The first half was not a very good half being down by has many as 25 pts with a 28-8 halftime score. But in the second half it was a whole different game. The full court trap was in full gear with are FUNSIZE guards all over the place and our fowards clening up the glass we were able to cut the lead to 6pts. but it wasn't enough and the final was 46-37 the Breakers winning. In all it was a great weekend and the Falcons are very happy to have our new players with us and this team will continue to grow!!!
