Fayetteville Generals Pop Warner Mission
The Fayetteville Pop Warner program begins with five priorities - Faith,Family, Academics, and Football / Cheer. Which is essential for each participant, if we are to reach our highest potential in all areas of life. There is nothing more motivateing than having a group of individuals coming together to develop a strong community program and becoming a positive and encouraging support in the lives of our youth, especially those who need positive mentorship and support. Mentoring is one of the highlights of becoming a coach, it is also a way of becoming a productive member of our association, however this program will not become successful without the participation of our community parents. Parents are needed to assist as team parents, monitors, game day officials, and board members this volunteer support will also allow the parents to become actively involved in making a contribution to their childs progression. We as a organization will continuously ask our children for their input in order to make the program better. Parents are also asked to monitor the program and report to the league officials if there is something that they would like to see added or eliminated that can better our program. The program will be advertised through the local newspaper, and local access channels. Our coaches are involved in the school system. Annoucements will be made during the school year and parents will have a chance to speak with coaches on set dates during the year.
The league is divided into six different age groups (7 to 15 years old) and weight classes in order to keep the children in their competitive range. All equipment and uniforms will be provided for their use during the season. There are 42 plus teams throughout the state involved in the pop warner program, making this program one of many competitive programs in the state.
