Welcome to the Home of the FCSC Fireballs
The Fireballs are a member of the Fauquier County Soccer Club based in Warrenton, Virginia. The Fireballs are a competitive, attack-oriented team that encourages player mobility and creativity while maintaining defensive discipline.
The Fireballs play year round soccer. In addition to competing in the Washington Area Girls Soccer League, the team also competes in tournaments and showcase events throughout the year. During the winter the girls compete in a high school futsal league as well as showcase tournaments. In the spring the girls also play for their high school teams.
The team practices at the Athey Field Complex at the Warrenton Aquatic and Recreation Facility in Warrenton, Virginia. The Athey complex is a premier soccer complex with Bermuda grass fields. Training is very focused, and the coaches are committed to preparing players to be successful at the club, high school and college levels.
All of our players play for their high school teams. We currently have girls playing at 5 area high schools - Fauquier, Kettle Run, Culpeper, Eastern View and Pope John Paul The Great.
The Fireballs are coached by Rick Ashley. Coach Ashley has been coaching youth soccer for more than 20 seasons. He has a USSF "B" license and participates in numerous coaching clinics and classes throughout the year. He is also the head coach of the girls varsity soccer team at Fauquier High School and the '00 FCSC United Black girls team.
