Go Coyotes!!!

Coyotes’ Players, Parents, Coaches & Board,
A few updates are below:
· CPR & AED = We are proud to announce that not only are the Fishhawk Coyotes Lacrosse organization the first sports program at Fishhawk Sports Complex, but also the first and only lacrosse program in the US Lacrosse Gulf Coast Chapter, to implement an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in case of an emergency. FYSA & the sports leagues at our complex purchased the AEDs and the Coyotes are the first to have our entire board and coaches trained on CPR & the AED, as well as develop & implement our protocol for the AED. We feel that this is the best investment of an expensive piece of equipment that will hopefully never be used, but could save a life if needed. Thank you to the board and coaches, and another great example of the Coyotes leading the way in more important ways than just on the field in lacrosse.
· Training = in regards to the AED, if any parents are interested in attending a training class on CPR & the AED, please let Andrew Cox know. The training class is about an hour and half and is only $10. If there is enough interest, then we will be happy to set up additional classes. The more the merrier to be trained and know how to provide CPR and use the AED in case of an emergency.

GIRLS Select Travel Teams!!!
The Tampa Elite Lacrosse Organization is excited to officially announce the launch of their new Select GIRLS lacrosse program. Tampa Lady ELITE!
After much planning and due diligence by the board of the non-profit Tampa ELITE, we are pleased to announce our inaugural season for Summer/Fall 2012. Tampa ELITE will field Girls teams to compete throughout the state and regionally at the U13, U15 & U17 divisions to compliment the newly formed Boys teams.
The Tampa ELITE have announced that Brian Lemon, former professional lacrosse player and current National Lacrosse League Vice President of Lacrosse Operations will be the Program Director overseeing coaching and player development. The ELITE are also proud to announce the Head Coaches for the Girls program:
• U13 – Chris Crusey
• U15 – Jayne Chapman
• U17 – TBA
Tampa ELITE will be holding GIRLS ONLY tryouts on Sunday March 4th from 3:00-6:00pm at Anderson Elementary School in South Tampa. Tryouts are free to all those interested and players are encouraged to pre-register at www.TampaEliteLacrosse.com. Walk-up registration will begin at 2:30pm.

Viewing Schedule
For those of you that are new to the Coyotes and getting familiar with our website, there are several ways you can view your teams game schedule.
1) At the bottom of this home page, you will see the next game or games your team will have.
2) You can go to the tab titled "Schedules- Spring 12" and once on that tab, choose the appropriate Division, then your players team. If you do not choose these two options in the top drop down menus, you may be viewing both white & blue schedules which will be confusing. You can also click on the "i" to the left of the game and view the white team rotation.
3) Go to the calendar and each game should be posted on the date with the appropriate time.
Also, to view directions...you can find these on the tab to the left titled "Directions" or it's best to go to the game schedule and click on the Venue which will give you directions to the away fields. Any questions, always ask your Head Coach.
