The Fieldhouse Elite Basketball program seeks to be the best of its kind in the country, by implementing a philosophy of talented student-athletes who are good representatives of their team, their school, their family and their community.
The Fieldhouse Elite AAU program and Basketball Academy presents an exciting new approach to developing premier basketball players and providing exposure to college coaches.
The Fieldhouse Elite program differentiates istelf from other clubs by being known for experienced coaching, academically-qualifying athletes, and competing in the highest level tournaments - both locally and on a national basis - many of which generally have hundreds of college coaches in attendance.
The Fieldhouse Elite program, however, is about more than playing games. The program employs an Academy approach - focused on total player development with an emphasis on advanced training techniques and fundamental skill improvement. Players will have traditional practices where they are coached for game situations, complemented by group workouts focused on individual skill development and basketball-specific athleticism enhancement.
Instructors and coaches provide diverse backgrounds including former NCAA Division 1 head coaches as well as former professional and D1 players. The Academy will also help ensure each player is in compliance with NCAA academic eligibility standards. No other basketball program takes this complete player development approach.
We are also partnering with local businesses in our players' communities to help offset the cost of playing and making AAU basketball, and the chance for college scholarships, affordable for everyone. These businesses,known as "Hardwood Heros" will contribute to a specific player, who will be recognized in a plaque at their place of business to show their community involvement.
The program is based at The Fieldhouse, the finest basketball-only facility in Indiana and perhaps the country. The Fieldhouse was built in 2004 to be the best facility of its kind, and our Elite basketball program will be held to that same standard.
