FPLL REGISTRATION 2012
TWO WAYS TO REGISTER
1.ON-LINE*: January 2nd through January 20th @ www.fpbaseball.org
2.IN PERSON at the Florham Park Library: One day only, Wednesday, January 18th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for parents of new registrants and those who don’t have access to computers. Uniform shirts and pants will be onsite at Library for sizing. Also, Alfred’s Sport Shop (FPLL Uniform Supplier) in Madison offers uniform sizing from January 2nd – January 20th for those that are unsure about their child’s uniform sizes.
New League Age Guidelines and Fees -
Single A League - (1st Yr Players - Formally Clinic League) - must turn 6 on or before 4/30/12(no exceptions) $75.00* - These Registrants must register in person (Jan 18th) with Birth Certificates since they are first year Players!
Double A League – (Former TBALL 2nd yr Players and Coach Pitch 3rd yr Players are Now Combined) 7 and 8 Year Olds $85.00*
Triple A League - (Formerly Minors but just a New Name) - 9 and 10 Year Olds $120.00*
Major Leagues - 11 and 12 Year Olds $120.00*
Junior Leagues - 13 – 15 Year Olds $120.00*

(*Registration after January 20th, will have a $35.00 late fee automatically applied during registration. Also, Players who register after the date uniform orders are placed will be responsible for any special order charges.)
FORMS
All player registrants must fill out the following:
•Online Registration or a hard copy 2012 Player Registration Form and
•2012 Medical Release Form to be found at www.FPBASEBALL.ORG
All New Player Registrants MUST also provide
•Proof of residency and
•A copy of their Birth Certificate.
(All documents must be brought to the on-site registration day)
COACHES & VOLUNTEERS
All coaches and volunteers MUST Be Rutgers Certified and…
•Submit a 2012 volunteer application form with a Social Security Number for Required Little League Background Checks and Obtain a MorphoTrak (formerly Sagem Morpho) background check as required by the Borough of Florham Park Ordinance. Anyone who does not have this check must request by sending an email to, Pat O’Donnell (psdodonnell@msn.com), so that a specific application form can be obtained from the Boro. Fingerprinting done by MorphoTrak is good for three years.
Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y Coaches Clinic
The Florham Park Recreation Department is hosting a Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. Clinic for volunteer coaches on Thursday, February 23rd 2012 from 6:30-9:30 pm, at the Florham Park Library. The clinic is required for new coaches who have not previously attended. Registration begins at 6:15 pm. The cost is $40 per person and can be paid at the door. Make checks payable to Florham Park Recreation Department. Coaches should RSVP to the Recreation Department at (973) 410-5390 – no later than Monday, February 13, 2012. Space is limited. Cage Rules
The batting cage is for the exclusive use of the FLORHAM PARK BASEBALL CLUB, INC. Only Coaches who have met the requirements of the Baseball Club are allowed to bring players to use the Batting Cage.
Rules
• Only 1 batter in the cage at a time.
• Only Approved Coaches can be in the Cage with a batter.
• Team use must have at least two Approved Coaches in attendance to monitor the players outside the Cage waiting to hit.
• Coaches pitching or tossing to a batter must be behind the protective Screen at all times when batter is hitting.
• Coaches are strongly recommended to wear a protective helmet when in the Cage pitching or tossing to a batter.
• Batters must wear helmets at all times.
• Lock cage upon completion of your session.
• Please keep the cage combination confidential.
• Clean all garbage after your session.
• Practice pitching mounds are to be shared by all using the Cage.
• All sessions, both team and individual must be booked with the Cage Director.
To book Cage time Call Scott Carpenter Cell 973-985-4625. All Cage appointments must be confirmed. You can book a cage time on Sunday after 12 pm for the following week. You can book 1 time and reserve a 2nd time, if no other team wants your reserve time it’s yours. You will reserve 1 cage and share the pitching area; if no one is booked in the 2nd cage you can use it.
NO CAGE RESERVATIONS WILL BE TAKEN VIA EMAIL!!
• Sliding Mat is located in the Shed next to Cage for use outside of cage for sliding drills. The Sliding Mat should never leave the Cage area and must be stored in the Shed when not in use.
• A first aid kit shall be located in the Shed next to Cage, which should not leave the cage area. If a Coach notices the first aid kit missing, they must immediately notify Scott Carpenter @ Cell No. 973- 985-4625

The Florham Park Baseball Club is a non-profit; self supported organization providing both instructional and competitive baseball for boys and girls ages 6-14. Originally founded in 1949, the Club began its affiliation with Little League Baseball Inc. in 1955 when we received our first charter. A Board of Directors operates the Club.
