Important information from Coach Ralston For Varsity Team

April 17, 2018
Dear Varsity Track Families,

Wednesday April 18th is our last dual meet of the season and it's for the section championship.  We are at Gateway who is also an undefeated team.  All athletes will go and compete tomorrow.  The lineup will be posted at the track today.  If your child is not listed for an event, it was an inadvertent oversight most likely due to lack of attendance.  We have over 60 kids miss practice daily due to varies reasons.  I'm still seeing faces that I don't know who they are because they are a once or twice a week kinda kid.  Have your child point out to their coach that they aren't on the roster and we will add them.  If we win tomorrow, every kid on the team will receive a championship medal or trophy at the banquet.

I'm asking that every athlete attend practice this Thursday , April 19th if possible so we can discuss end of the season business.  The list of athletes staying on for playoffs will be posted Thursday.  We are attempting to get a head count for the banquet this year.  The boosters do a great job planning for 135 kids, about 60 will show up.  This is a huge waste of time and money and we'd like to avoid that as much as possible.  Coaches will be gathering that information over the next 3 days on who will be attending.

Thanks for all the support.
