The team is playing in the Frisco Baseball Softball Association 12U AA Division during the spring 2010 season, and will also take part in at least two open baseball tournaments during the spring and early summer. Progress to more demanding leagues and tournaments will depend solely on the competitive level of the team.

The club is managed and coached by four experienced coaches with a proven track record of improving individual and team skills. The coaching philosophy is not to win at all costs, but to make sure that every player develops superior skills, and that the team executes in a game situation. Winning follows measurable improvements in all defensive and offensive aspects of the game.

Players on the Spartans are not necessarily the most natural athletes, but young men who have the desire to play at a high level, the discipline to work hard, and a positive attitude towards coaches and teammates.
