Lacrosse is a great compliment to the sport of hockey by developing a player's cardio and their hand & eye coordination under similar game tactics as hockey

GENERAL INFORMATION for those new to FWLA
Far West Lacrosse is open to boys and girls born in 2003 and earlier. Our season runs from mid April to mid-July. Gym warm-up sessions will be offered prior to team placement, followed by round robin season games with WILA and a playoff schedule. All player will also participate in a tournament and exchange games with other associations in the Montreal area. Players will need lacrosse equipment (see the handout section) and the association will provided a team jersey for the season.
The league is based on fundamentals and fun, and the coaches will have the opportunity to foster new skills and put them into practice during games. Typically, the house league will have one practice and one game per week with a few special events on weekends.
