ABOUT US
Riverside Gator Cheer was founded in 2005. RGC is comprised of three competition cheer squads; Tiny Gators (ages 3-5), the Extreme team (ages 6 to 9)and the Elite squad (ages 10 to 18). We pride ourselves on athleticism, commitment, scholastic excellence, dedication and community involvement. Please click on recruitment for team practice information. Fundraising

CONRGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2009- 2010 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS: Mandi Hart ($350), Akiya Williams ($575) and Kaylie Davis ($1000).
COMPETITION (2008-2009 season)
10/25/2008: Great Oak High School (Temecula)- Congratulations on your first place win in the junior cheer division. You placed first overall and took home the "Grand Master Champions" trophy. Good job Tiffany for placing 1st in best toe touches. Kaylie and lil B also took home 1st place trophies for best kicks. Akiya and Trish placed 2nd for kicks. Lil B placed 4th for best tumbling pass, Trish took 3rd and so did Taylor. In addition, Kaylie and Tiffany placed 1st for tumbling. We also took 1st in junior and senior stunt down. Our MVP for this event was Akiya. Way to go gators!
11/15/2008: Norte Vista High School (Riverside)- Congratualations on your score of 90.25. You tied for "highest overall score of the day" with a senior co-ed squad. The Gators took home the Showmanship Award and won first place for junior stunts, senior stunts, elementary tumbling, junior tumbling, senior tumbling, elementary jumps and junior jumps. Way to rock the house ladies. Our MVP for this event was Breanna Watring.
12/13/2008: USA Holiday Classic (Anaheim Convention Center)- Congratulations level 3 regional champions! Our MVP for this event was Mandi Hart.
1/10/09: COA Capo Valley Championship (San Juan Capistrano)- Great work...level 3 champions once again. Tiffany was crowned 2nd place toe touch champion. Thanks to Danielle and Trish's dad the Gators also came out on top with the "best dancer award".
1/25/09: USA Winter Classic (San Diego State)- Gators took 2nd in the junior level 3 division.
2/7/09: Spirit Sport Nationals (Palm Springs)- Our Gator girls displayed an outstanding performance and placed 6th in the senior open 3 division; chasing 5th place only by 3 one hundredths of a point! Our MVP for this event was Kaylie Davis. Well done ladies.
2/21/09: Riverside Community College- Our lady gators took first in their division and first overall. We tied with a college team for "highest score of the day". We took first in elementary stunts, first in junior stunts, first, second and third in elementary jumps, first and second for junior jumps, and first, second and third in elementary tumbling. Nicely done.
2/28/09: UCA West Coast Championships (Los Angeles)- Although the girls looked great on the floor and only received 2 deductions...they took home fifth. Oh well, you can't win 'em all.
3/7/09: Arcadia High School- RGC took home first place and first overall with the highest cheer score of the day. We took 2nd in junior stunts and 1st and 3rd for elementary jumps. Our juniors swept the tumbling category taking home first, second and third. Proudly display your Gator pride. :)
4/25/09: Azusa Pacific University- Great job gators with a first place finish in the junior cheer division. Our tiny gators took second in their division. Akiya, Sam and Tiffany swept the tumbling category taking home fist, second and third. The juniors placed "first overall" and won "Grand Master Champions".
5/16/09: Chino High School- Our tinies took first place as did our juniors! Juniors received first overall and we took home "Grand Master Champions"...again. :) Congrats to Alyssa for earning 1st place in mascot toe touches and McKenna who earned 2nd for mini mascots. Akiya took 2nd in tumbling and Sam placed first. Tiffany took first place in toe touches and we took first for junior stunts. What a great way to end the season.
