By clicking the Teams/Roster tab on the left side of your screen you can view the rosters for 13 and Under and 14 and Under!
All players have 10 days to notify GCVC by e-mail or phone that they will be accepting a roster spot. If there is no response within 10 days we will contact the next player listed on our waiting list. If you are not on a roster initially, you may still be chosen after 10 daysif a player accepts a roster spot with another program, or does not contact GCVC!
Please remember that all lump sum payments need to be paid in full by Dec. 1st , 2009 for the 13's and 14's teams.

Tryouts for 15's-18's will be November 22nd. Tryout fee is $20.

18's-1:15-3:15
There will be a brief parents meeting after each session.
After much discussion, we feel it is time to revamp our club program and go more towards quality of our teams and not quanity. It was not an easy decision because we know we will lose a lot of girls who been with us for a very long time.
In the past we have tried to help as many girls as we could and give them an opportunity to play at the next level but after this past season, we knew we needed to do some things differently.
We will only be having 1 team per age group and our fees will increase. We also are eliminating our payment plan. We cannot afford for players to not make payments on time or even not at all. We will still have our credit card option but all fees will have to be paid upfront before we do anything. We are sorry it has come to this but it only takes a few people to ruin it for everyone.
We hope to see as many of you as possible at the tryout date and thank you all for your support of Greene County Volleyball Club.

Things To Know About OVR Tournaments

Per OVR policy concerning coolers and food
Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside
facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or
cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are
prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. Tournament directors and site
managers do not have the discretion to grant permission. If a club does
not comply amicably with a tournament director’s or site director’s
request, an Incident Report will be sent to Bob Price, OVR
Commissioner, resulting in up to a $250 fine and a team/club
suspension.

Greene County Club Volleyball Director
Jan Tobe started the Greene County program TEN years ago. Before starting the Greene County Program she worked with the Western Ohio Volleyball Program. She is currently the head volleyball coach at Wilmington College in her 2nd year. She took Wilmington College fronm a 4-22 record her first year to a 15-15 record this year, along with Wilmington's first conference win in 12 years. She was formally the head coach Greeneview High School, Division III, in Jamestown, Ohio. Coach Tobe had been the head coach since 1991. She was the Greeneview JV coach from 1989- 1991 prior to becoming the head coach.She has 18 years of coaching experience and has been involved in junior volleyball for 13 years.
Greeneview High School Program the Greeneview Lady Rams Volleyball team has accomplished the following accomplishments during Jan Tobe's tenure:
Recorded over 200 wins Ohio Heritage Conference Champion: 2005, 2006 Sectional Finalist: 1991,1992,1993,1994,1995,1997,1999,2002,2004 District Runner up: 1991,1992,1996,1998, 2005, 2006 Regional Runner Up: 1996
Coach Jan Tobe brings a great deal to the Greene County Volleyball Club Program from a desire to win, play competitive volleyball, as well as improving on the individual player's skill levels. She is ASEP certified and Impact certified.
